The American Music Awards are just a couple of weeks away from broadcasting live from Los Angeles, and now the people behind the annual awards show have unveiled the rest of the performers. Previously, it was announced that acts like 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, and Carrie Underwood would hit the stage during the yearly music awards show. On Wednesday (Nov. 11), the rest of the performance lineup was unveiled.
Coldplay, Gwen Stefani, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have now been added to the already full list. Coldplay will reportedly perform their new single, “Adventure of a Lifetime” for the first time on live United States television. Last Friday (Nov. 6), the group debuted the song live on TFI Friday, a United Kingdom-based television program.
Also rounding out the heavy list is Gwen Stefani, who will reportedly perform her own new single, “Used to Love You” and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, who will debut their own brand new song during the show. As of now, there has been no indication on what the name of the new song is.
The American Music Awards is schedule to broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on Nov. 22. For those watching from home, the show will be broadcast on ABC. Jennifer Lopez will play double duty for the evening, both hosting and performing on the show.
