The Matches celebrated the tenth anniversary of their breakthrough record E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals the only way that you should celebrate such an anniversary; by reuniting even if it was for one show.

The California-based band who went on hiatus in the Summer of 2009, started to post old photos under the hashtag #oldschoolmatches at the beginning of 2014 which left some scratching their heads and assuming they would be reuniting. Those speculating a reunion would be some what right.

Then, a few months later in May 2014, the band officially announced, via a video on YouTube that they would be doing a one-time reunion show at Slim’s in San Francisco, just for the tenth anniversary of their debut record.

Now, the band have released the recordings from the show as a live album titled, 10YearsEVDKTL.

The full stream of the album which features songs from the album as well as others, can be heard below.
