Vance Joy to release ‘Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre’ album

Vance Joy may have spent most of the year touring, but for fans who may have not gotten the chance to see him, it looks like the singer is going to give them a little something special. On Friday (Nov. 2), the Australian singer-songwriter unveiled plans to release his Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre album.

The 16-track live album was recorded earlier in the year during his sold out appearance at Colorado’s iconic concert venue, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The show was part of Joy’s epic 83-stop Nation of Two world tour.

According to a press release, the live album will feature “Joy’s amiable storytelling intertwined among 16 songs, including favorites from each of the multi-platinum artist’s albums.”

Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre is due out Nov. 16 on all DSPs and streaming services.

Pre-orders for the forthcoming release are available here. All pre-orders will include  an instant download of “Mess is Mine (Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre).”

In addition to the live album, Joy also revealed that he will be releasing a special, limited edition collector’s vinyl. The collector’s item will be released exclusively via Barnes and Nobles and will only be available in the United States. Pre-orders for the vinyls are available here.

After being on the road for most of 2018, Joy will wrap up his lengthy tour itinerary later this month in Europe. Following a short time off, Joy will hit the road once more, this time opening for P!nk during her 2019 European summer tour.

In conjunction with the album news, Joy also released the music video for his latest single, “I’m with You.” Watch the clip above.

“I’m with You” is featured on Joy’s recently released record, Nation of Two.

The Matches Release ‘E. Von Dahl’ Live Album

The Matches celebrated the tenth anniversary of their breakthrough record E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals the only way that you should celebrate such an anniversary; by reuniting even if it was for one show.

The California-based band who went on hiatus in the Summer of 2009, started to post old photos under the hashtag #oldschoolmatches at the beginning of 2014 which left some scratching their heads and assuming they would be reuniting. Those speculating a reunion would be some what right.

Then, a few months later in May 2014, the band officially announced, via a video on YouTube that they would be doing a one-time reunion show at Slim’s in San Francisco, just for the tenth anniversary of their debut record.

Now, the band have released the recordings from the show as a live album titled, 10YearsEVDKTL.

The full stream of the album which features songs from the album as well as others, can be heard below.
