Bullet For My Valentine unleash video for ‘Over It’

With just a handful of days before they embark on their massive summer tour dates, Bullet For My Valentine have unleashed the music video for their new single. On Tuesday (April 24), the Welsh band released the almost four-and-a-half minute clip for their new tune, “Over It.” The clip predominately features the band inside of a dark room in which the only form of lighting comes from several slits in the roof.

The rest of the video follows a woman who seems to be in a dark place mentally. At the beginning of the video, the viewer watches as she floats in mid-air as if she had jumped off a ledge. As the video progresses, the woman is seen sitting and pacing in a darkly lit room and at one point, the viewer watches as thick, dark liquid begins to pour out of her mouth and eyes.

Towards the end of the video, the woman begins to spread the dark goo all over her skin and then tear at it revealing a bright galaxy hidden behind the darkness. Watch the music video for “Over It” above.

“Over It” is the lead single off Bullet For My Valentine’s upcoming sixth studio album, Gravity. Gravity is set to be released on June 29 through the band’s new home of Spinefarm Records. Earlier this month, the band confirmed the impending release of their new album by premiering the audio for “Over It” on BBC Radio 1.

In support of Gravity‘s release, the group previously announced a lengthy tour itinerary throughout the spring and summer months. Their upcoming tour will officially kick off this weekend with the band’s appearances at Florida-based sister festivals Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville and Fort Rock in Sunrise/Fort Lauderdale. The group’s complete tour schedule can be found here.
