Kesha to embark on a ‘Rainbow’ tour

With Kesha’s official return to the music world in full effect thanks to three new songs and a brand new album, the songstress has now announced even more good news for her longtime followers. On Tuesday (Aug. 1), the pop star announced plans to hit the road this fall for her “Rainbow” tour. The excursion will kick off on Sept. 26 at the Iron City in Birmingham, Alabama and wrap up a little over a month later on Nov. 1 at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the “Rainbow” tour will go on sale beginning this Saturday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. local time on Kesha’s website. For those who would like to register for a change to obtain pre-sale tickets, head on over to Tunespeak where a handful of pre-sale slots will be available for each tour stop.

In a caption accompanying the tour announcement, Kesha took the time to admit that she wouldn’t have made it through the tough times without her “animals”(her fans). “ANIMALS! I’m going on tour! I would not have made it to this point without you, so come out and join the celebration with me.”

The “Rainbow” will be in support of Kesha’s upcoming new album, Rainbow. Rainbow is set to hit stores on Aug. 11. The record, her third, is not only her first new album in five years, it’s also her first record  since becoming involved in an ongoing legal battle again former collaborator Dr. Luke.
