Remember how in 2013, a group of pre-teens playing heavy metal on the streets of New York caught the attention of everyone around them, eventually resulting in them signing a $1.7 million contract last Summer with Sony?
Well, the boys of Unlocking the Truth are back in action, or at least in the headline for getting the chance to perform on stage with a big time rock musician (though they were discovered by Eric Clapton’s drummer, Steve Jordan).
During a recent stop on his “Hell Not Hallelujah” tour in Philadelphia, Marilyn Manson invited the trio to join him on stage to sing Manson’s 1996 hit song, “The Beautiful People.”
Though they weren’t on stage playing their instruments, they were given the change to sing alongside Manson on the track.
Check out the fan shot video below.
Manson is currently in the middle of the “Hell Not Hallelujah” tour which will funnily enough wraps up on Valentine’s Day at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.
As for the guys in Unlocking the Truth, it was revealed in December they will be heading to Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH during the weekend of May 15-17, 2015 for Columbus’ annual Rock on the Range music festival (you know, “where rock lives”).
Unlocking the Truth will be playing alongside greats like Slipknot, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, Judas Priest and of course Manson.
