Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift and….Prince William?

What happens when you combine two American singer one from New Jersey and another from Tennessee and a real life prince? Well, you get a pretty cool performance.

About a month or so ago, it was announced that his Prince William had sent out invitations to Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift to attend the Winter White Gala, a 200-person charity dinner at Kensington Palace in London.

It only took a matter of time for the country singer and the royal to join Jon Bon Jovi on stage for a performance of one the band’s greatest hits, “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

Thanks to someone in the audience at the event, footage for the trio singing the hit song was uploaded onto Instagram with the caption reading, “Classic Tuesday night with Jon Bon Jovi performing Living on a Prayer with Taylor Swift and HRH.” It was almost instantly that the video started to surface everywhere.

The Winter White Gala s gala for Centrepoint, the homeless-youth charity William took on for his mother Princess Diana after she passed away in 1997. Also at the event were the rest of Bon Jovi, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michelle Dockery, but noticeably missing was William’s wife, Duchess Katherine and son Prince George.

The small family does live at the palace full-time, but for the event, Kate reportedly stayed at their nearby apartments with baby George.

Anyways, check out the video below (the top is from the audience member and the bottom one is the official video).

Richie Sambora Out of Bon Jovi?

Has Richie Sambora officially been fired from Bon Jovi?

That’s what it’s starting to look like.

According to reports from rumorfix.com, Sambora’s firing has to primary do with money issues. Sources close to the story report that the guitarist was making about $2 million a month and 20 percent of the profits from the tour, while fill-in guitarist, Philip “Phil X” Xenidis was earning a lot less, about $10,000 a month while on tour.

While this news might not come a s a surprise, Sambora left the band earlier this year for personal reasons but at the time rumors were circulating that it had something to do with either his drug addiction or Bon Jovi frontman, Jon Bon Jovi. To this day, the official reason for Sambora’s departure was for “personal issues,” at least according to the band’s website.

Apparently, the musician isn’t taking the news of his firing, lightly,  “Richie wants to go back on stage-that’s his first love,” a source told the site. “He’s really upset over the news.”

Since his departure from the band early on in the tour, Sambora had stayed away from posting anything on Twitter besides pictures of his family and himself hanging out and enjoying the time off.

Early this month, he shared a song titled, “Come Back As Me,” which made fans think that the song was a dig at Bon Jovi. Sensing that things were not going the right way, Sambora took to Twitter to clarify that the song was not a dig at Bon Jovi. “This songs gettin’ some traction, so I would sincerely appreciate any help. BTW this has nothin’ to do with Jon…,” he wrote back on August 4.

So far, none of the sides have confirmed or denied that allegation, but what should fans expect when things have not been smooth in the band for a while.

Richie Sambora to Sit Out the Rest of the Bon Jovi Tour

Sambora

Richie Sambora will not be joining Bon Jovi for the rest of their “Because We Can” tour which is currently on the road. The band’s website vaguely cites “personal issues” as the reason behind why the famed guitarist would be sitting out the tour. While he will be missing, the band will continued with their tour, but that’s all the information that had been given about the sudden departure from the tour.

Speculation have already started that the “personal issue” could have something to do with Sambora’s past substance abuse; he had been sent to rehab several times to kick the habit. TMZ is reporting that an inside source close to the band revealed that the real reason Sambora is bailing on the tour is because of a feud between him and frontman, Jon Bon Jovi.

The source claims that Bon Jovi belittles Sambora and that they are arguing over money. There has been so legitmatie statement made about what the “personal issue” is, but Bon Jovi was quoted as saying yesterday, “I had two choices: pack up and go home or give you everything I got … Richie Sambora won’t be performing for a while. If there’s ever a night I need you, it’s tonight, Calgary!”

Just yesterday, Sambora had tweeted that he was watching cover videos that fans made of his solo track, “Every Road Leads Home To You.”

The “Because We Can” Tour is currently schedule to continue its stops all the way through to April 25 where it will wrap up in San Jose, California.
