After months of patiently waiting, the Struts have finally confirmed some important information concerning their second studio album. On Friday (Sept. 14), the English band unveiled the title and release date for the much-anticipated follow-up to Everybody Wants. Titled Young & Dangerous, the new record is due out Oct. 26 through Polydor Records. Pre-orders for the forthcoming album are currently available on the band’s website.
“Finally, we can reveal our second album, Young & Dangerous,” frontman Luke Spiller announced via a press release.
“We have poured our blood, sweat, and tears into this album and I know you are all going to love it. This is dedicated to all of our amazing fans who have waited so long for this record. I hope these songs provide the perfect soundtrack to this crazy thing called life.”
In conjunction with the new album announcement, the band also unleashed the record’s latest single; a tune titled “Bulletproof Baby.” Listen to the new track above.
The 13-track album will include “Bulletproof Baby” as well as previously released tracks “Primadonna Like Me,” lead single “Body Talks,” and a special version of “Body Talks” featuring Kesha.
Back in July, the glam rockers announced plans to embark on a massive North American tour during the months of September, October, and November. The “Body Talks” tour will begin on Sept. 21 at St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit and conclude a month and a half later on Nov. 9 at the Fillmore in San Francisco.
White Reaper, Spirit Animal, Thunderpussy, and the Wrecks will open for the band during the fall time excursion. Spirit Animal and White Reaper will play opening acts from Sept. 21 to Oct. 25 (White Reaper will not perform on Oct. 6) while Thunderpussy and the Wrecks will take over for them from Nov. 2 – 9 (Thunderpussy will not perform on Nov. 3). The full list of tour dates can be found here.
Young & Dangerous is the follow-up to the group’s breakout debut, 2016’s Everybody Wants. Their debut record features some of their massive hits including “Put Your Money on Me,” “Kiss This,” and “Could Have Been Me.”
