The Struts to bring their glam rock goodness to North America in the fall

If you’ve ever seen the Struts live, then you would definitely understand why the group has been busy over the course of the past couple of years. Between playing music festivals around the world and opening for massive bands like The Killers, the Foo Fighters, and the Rolling Stones, you can see why there’s no evidence of them slowing down. Dave Grohl has even called the quartet the best opening act the Foo Fighters have ever had.

On Wednesday (July 18), the English glam rockers added a headlining North American tour to their already packed 2018 itinerary. Titled the “Body Talks” tour, after their current single, the upcoming excursion will kick off on Sept. 21 at St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit and conclude a month and a half later on Nov. 9 at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

Show tickets will go on sale beginning this Friday, July 20, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets can be purchased on the band’s website here.

White Reaper, Spirit Animal, Thunderpussy, and the Wrecks will open for the band during the fall time excursion. Spirit Animal and White Reaper will play the part of opening acts from Sept. 21 to Oct. 25 (White Reaper will not perform on Oct. 6) while Thunderpussy and the Wrecks will take over for them from Nov. 2 – 9 (Thunderpussy will not perform on Nov. 3).

The upcoming tour will be in support of the Struts sophomore album. The title and release date for the forthcoming record have yet to be announced. The impending album will be the follow-up to their wildly successful debut album Everybody Wants. The debut was released in 2014 in the United Kingdom, but was re-released in the United States in 2016. Everybody Wants features the Struts’ breakout singles “Put Your Money on Me,” “Kiss This,” and “Could Have Been Me.”
