After spending much of 2017 touring the country in support of their at-the-time new EP, Something Different, pop act Why Don’t We are ready to hit the touring circuit once more when the new year begins. On Wednesday (Oct. 4), the Los Angeles-based group unveiled plans to take their latest EP, Invitation, on the road in early 2018. The “Invitation Tour” will kick off on Feb. 27 at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, Ohio and conclude almost two months later on April 21 at the PlayStation Theater in New York.

The upcoming tour will be in support of Why Don’t We’s recently released Invitation EP. The record was released to celebrate the five-piece’s one-year anniversary of being a band. The group officially launched on Sept. 26, 2016 while the latest EP was released on Sept. 26, 2017. Prior to releasing Invitation, the group released three other EPs; the Only the Beginning EP, the Something Different EP, and the Why Don’t We EP.
The Invitation EP has proved to be a massive success for the group, earning them the top spot on iTunes Store’s “Top Pop Albums” chart in six countries including the United States. As if earning the top spot on iTunes’ pop chart wasn’t enough, the band was recently featured on Billboard’s annual “21 Under 21” chart and have secured spots performing on shows like MTV’s recently resurrected Total Request Live as well as NBC’s the TODAY Show, MTV’s 2017 VMA Pre-Show, and the 2017 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day at the US Open Tennis Championships.
