Taylor Swift ‘Biggest Fan’ Contest Canceled

The internet was so close of having a super-creepy guy win a meet-and-greet with pop star Taylor Swift, almost being the keyword.

A “fat old guy creep” named Charles had officially won the “Taylor Swift’s Biggest Fan,” but was denied the right to his prize (just so you know, he want to go all creeper and sniff the blonde star’s hair) after the radio station holding the promotion called into question the integrity of his win.

Gawker reported that the meet-and-greet contest had been cancelled thanks to the trolls roaming their 4Chan and Reddit caves.

Boston’s Kiss 108 FM, who were hosting the contest, released the following statement about the cancellation.

“Disappointingly, we have determined that the integrity of the ‘Taylor Swift’s Biggest Fan’ contest has been compromised. In accordance with our contest rules, effective immediately, the contest has been terminated. We apologize to all of our loyal listeners who have participated.”

But while they write about how sad it is that they had to cancel the contest, much to the dismay of “legitimate” Taylor Swift fans (and of course out internet trolls), they tend to forget that Charles actually did win the contest. “I’m a 39 year old man and I love Taylor so much and don’t care that both adults and children mock me for it, ” Charles wrote.

While we honestly don’t know whether or not Charles is a real dude, because come on this is the generation of “Catfish,” we can rest assure knowing that these types of pranks will not end here. Remember how the internet managed to send Pitbull from the warm Miami beaches that he’s always bragging about to the cold, frigid weather of Alaska?

Anything is possible.
