Sleater-Kinney Give Fans Major Good News

If you are a fan of Sleater-Kinney then today was probably one of the best Mondays you can ask for with all the news that came from their camp.

As if news of their reunion wasn’t enough, the band released a brand new song over the weekend, announced a brand new record was on the way and to top it all off, they will be heading out on a world tour in 2015.

Lots of news to take in on a Monday, huh? At least it’s not a dull start to the week.

The lead single off of the upcoming album is titled “Bury Our Friend” and can be heard below.

“Bury Our Friends” will be featured on their upcoming record titled, No Cities to Love which will be released through Sub Pop Record in January of 2015. No specific date has been given yet.

The upcoming world tour is the first time since 2006 that the group have been reunited. If you are one of the people who are saying “that’s a lie” then you’re probably counting that brief reunion at Pearl Jam’s concert in 2013 as one.
