kanyewestnewpromo-copy-300x242

Looks like things might not be looking up for Kanye in the music department because someone has managed to get their hands on the new album a week before its official release date.

All week we’ve been hearing about the new tracks that would be featured on the rapper’s highly anticipated album, but somehow all the tracks have  made their way onto numerous torrent sites. The track list and contributors information was also revealed for the ten track LP. This leaked information also confirms the rumors of certain guests being on the album such as Frank Ocean, Daft Punk and the crazy collaboration with Bon Iver frontman, Justin Vernon and Chief Keef.

The full track listing straight from the packaging can be seen below as well as the leaker’s Instagram photos:

For some reason this leaked issue feels like it might be a little set up, because let’s be honest, if Kanye wanted to keep this album under lock and key, it would have been under lock and key.

So what do you guys think, publicity stunt (well, more publicity) for Yeezus or an actual leakage?

Kanye West Reveals Guests for New Albums

kanyewestnewpromo-copy-300x242

Kanye West has been on a roll this weeks with debuting some of this new music during last weekend’s New York Governor’s Ball.

Rumor had it that before the Ball, West had held a super secret listening party for some people in late-April, but until this day, not many have been able to confirm whether or not this rumor was true or just that, a rumor.

Last night, the rapper held an official listening party for friends, a small group of fans and just a handful of media at Milk in NYC. s. where he revealed some guests that would be on the 10-tracked, Yeezus.

Who would be making it on one of the year’s highly anticipated albums you might ask?

West confirmed that Chicago rapper, Chief Keef, would be featured on the track, “Holy My Liquor,” but he isn’t the only one to be guest-starring on that track. In what might be one of the most random and unique pairing, Bon Iver frontman, Justin Vernon will also be on the same track.

But that was not all. The rapper also introduced a new track that will be featured on the Rick Rubin produced album which mashes TNGHT’s “Higher Ground” with Billie Holiday’s classic,  “Strange Fruit.”

Yeezus hits stores June 18th, but don’t let that date fool you; considering it’s Kanye, he might just release the new album tomorrow.

Snippet of Kanye West’s New song Hit the Web

Kanye West has definitely been making news as of lately, you know with that super secret album that is supposed to be released sometime within the month.

Last week, his baby mama dropped the ball when she released the official cover art for the new album, Yeezus on her Instagram account. Of course, many people were wonder if it was just a ruse/publicity stunt for the couple, but lo-and-behold, the art that was revealed was indeed the real deal at least according to West’s record label.

Today, a snippet of his new song, “New Slaves,” has hit the web which is funny considering just a few days back, we were wonder when he might drop a single.

The new album which is rumored to be released on June 18th, has had no publicity or promotional tour which is funny considering who we are talking about.

Anyways, here’s the snippet of the song.

Real Cover Art for ‘Yeezus’ Confirmed

Kanye_West_Headshot

I’mma let you finish but….Kanye you need to get some real artists to make your cover art.

Early last week, major rumors were circulating over what the real cover of Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, would looks like. At first, the rumor was that there would be a picture of Jesus on the cover, but now, Def Jam is confirming that there will be no Jesus on the cover, but rather, no cover at all.

Last week, Kanye’s baby mama, Kim Kardashian has tweeted a picture of a molten jewel case with a bright orange sticker that said Yeezus on it. “No cover, booklet, just a sticker on the reverse of the package with the track list,” said DJ Semtex said while being interviewed by Miss Info on her radio show.

But if this is not going to be the cover then Def Jams is either pulling the wool over our eyes or they have something up their sleeve that won’t happen until the last moment. If that’s what they have in mind then they better think fast because the new album is supposedly scheduled for a June 18 release and so far no lead single has made its way to top 40 radio yet.

shit

So, what do you guys think of the ‘potential’ album cover?
