Foo Fighters Troll Westboro Baptists Church, Again

How exactly does one troll a group that’s made a name for themselves by trolling everyone? Simple, beat them at their own game.Over the weekend, the Westboro Baptist Church were once again at it, protesting the Foo Fighters’ show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.

Like many bands who have been protested by the anti-everything group, the Foo Fighters decided to beat the trolls at their own game. In a video uploaded, which can be seen below, the band is heard coming from around a corner blasting Green Day’s “American Idiot.” As the truck they are riding rolls into the frame of the camera, the song changes to Rick Astley’s ’80s dance anthem “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

The truck then stops in front of the protesters and the group starts a small dance party in the bed of the truck. A close-up image shows drummer Taylor Hawkins carrying a sign that says “You Got Rick Rolled. And that they did.

This encounter with the Westboro protesters isn’t even the first time the Foo Fighters have come face to face with the group. Back in 2011, Westboro decided to protest the band’s show in Kansas City following their humorous truck stop shower characters from their “Keep It Clean (Hot Buns)” tour promo. Instead of letting the group get under their skin, the band rolled in, on a flatbed truck, as the truck stop characters and gave the protesters a show.

The 2011 footage can be seen below.

The Foo Fighters are currently in the middle of their North American tour in support of their recently released album, Sonic Highways. Tonight (Aug. 24), the band will stop at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Detroit.

Fall Out Boy Becomes Westboro’s Latest Parody Inspiration

Fall Out Boy Visits fuse

Just when we thought we had heard the last of the Westboro Baptist Church after being owned by Panic! at the Disco a few weeks ago, the viruses are back, attempting to mock another one of our favorite bands.

This time, the latest band on their “hit list” is Fall Out Boy. The unofficial church and official disgrace to humanity announced their parody of the Chicago band’s hit song, “Thnks fr th Mmrs.” Their version of the song has been titled, “Thnk Gd fr Vrythng.” Of course it would have a scummy titled like that.

The parody comes as the WBC have announced plans to picket FOB’s show in Kansas City, MS, tomorrow (August 9). If memory serves right, this is the same place the parasites decided to boycott Panic! which resulted in only 100 picketers showing up and Panic! donating over $1000 to the Human Rights Campaign. This also led to the group releasing a limited edition tie-dye shirt with proceeds going to HRC.

We should also point out that they never really leave their little town of Kansas City to boycott. Coincidence, we think not.

Check out the lyrics below, if you want, and listen to the song here because we don’t want their homophobia to clutter our site.

The cords you cast and bands you break
(rage and imagine a vain thing)
Say a prayer but you won’t eat the roll
You think God doesn’t know?
Shut his people up, won’t make things right
‘cause it’s your wrongs that show you need the bread of life
“Who does he think he is?”
If that’s the way you think
then God Almighty’s your enemy

One God, one truth, one way
Thank God for everything
To the Lord our praises sing
“His word like honey, only sweeter,”
He wounds, heals, makes alive and kills
Thank God for everything, Thank God for everything
“The voice of God breaketh the cedars”

Look close at your eternal future
But your eyesight is goin’ bad
You’re headed to Hell
Follow your lusts and us ignore
Your time to repent (repent will pass)
The chaff he’ll fan (chaff he’ll fan)

One God, one truth, one way
Thank God for everything
To the Lord our praises sing
“His word like honey, only sweeter,”
He wounds, heals, makes alive and kills
Thank God for everything, Thank God for everything
“The voice of God breaketh the cedars”

You think abomination has some strength in numbers?
Like that Great Whore, paying all her lovers
His word is out of mind and His hatred only grows
Instead of obeying God, your filthy sins you pursued, whoa

One God, one truth, one way
Thank God for everything
To the Lord our praises sing
“His word like honey, only sweeter,”
He wounds, heals, makes alive and kills
Thank God for everything, Thank God for everything
“The voice of God breaketh the cedars”

One God, one truth, one way (One God one truth one way)
Thank God for everything
To the Lord our praises sing
“His word like honey, only sweeter.” (Oh)

One God, one truth, one way (One God one truth one way)
Thank God for everything, Thank God for everything (Thank God for everything, Thank God for everything)
“The voice of God breaketh the cedars” (Oh)”

Hasn’t the Westboro learned their lessons yet? They are never going to win this battle/war against these artists.

Panic! at the Disco Call Westboro Baptist Church’s Bluff

panic-at-the-disco-tour-presale-2014-300x179

For a band that calls Las Vegas home, Panic! at the Disco surely called the Westboro Baptist Church’s bluff.

Last week, the Westboro Baptist Church, one of the most detested, despised and obnoxious group of people in the world, released a parody of Panic! at the Disco’s hit, debut song, “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies.” Considering that the group of anti-everything had not only announced plans to do that, they had also announced plan to picket the band’s Kansas City, MO, we were all expecting the song to come out, which by the way is horrible.

We’re pretty sure that the WBC expect all the hate, but one thing we are sure they did not expect was for Panic! to announce that they would donate $20 to the Human Right Campaign for every member of the WBC that would show up at the show to picket.

Check out the interaction between the band and the WBC after the original tweet was posted, yesterday, in which the band not only called their bluff, but also burned them in a response.

Westboro Baptist Church Post Panic! at the Disco Parody

Well, we know we should have seen this coming especially after the Westboro Baptist Church told us they would do this.

Yesterday afternoon, the religious freaks that we all utterly dislike and disagree with (and wish would abducted by vicious aliens), released their parody of Panic! at the Disco’s breakthrough song, “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies” from their debut album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.

Their parody, if you wish to call it that, not surprisingly comes just a few days before the show that the WBC announced they would be picketing; Kansas City, Missouri on July 20.

The attempted song is titled “You Love Sin What a Tragedy.” What a way to bring up publicity for you lackluster petition and “mission.”

If you want to listen to it and lose a couple of brain cells in the process, head on over here, though we are sure you should just read the lyrics and not condone their immature antics.

Lyrics:

Oh, they imagine
Such a vain thing, the God of the Bible’s no more
And it’s not a sin they cheer
Pushing vile affection with great swelling words
“Being gay is a blessing! What a beautiful wedding!” says the fag’s mom to a hater

And the whole crowd has no shame, what a shame, they’re all fags, fag pimps or whores

We chime in with a
Haven’t you people ever heard of obeying the Word of God?
No, you all rebel against the King of Kings
With a sense of pride and immorality

We chime in
Haven’t you people ever heard of obeying the Word of God?
No, you all rebel against the King of Kings
With a sense of…

Oh! You all say
It’s okay to be gay
The way to fag marriage has been paved
Well this calls for some truth, now

You’re all insane

Oh! You all say
It’s okay to be gay
Because practically fag marriage will stay
Well this calls for some truth

You’re all insane, fags are profane

We chime in with a
Haven’t you people ever heard of obeying the Word of God?
No, you all rebel against the King of Kings
With a sense of pride and immorality again

We chime in
Haven’t you people ever heard of obeying the Lord your God?
No, you all rebel against the King of Kings
With a sense of pride and immorality

We chime in
Haven’t you people ever heard of obeying the Lord your God?
No, you all rebel against the King of Kings
With a sense of pride and immorality again

One Direction v. Westboro Baptist Church

One-Direction-Photos

The Westboro Baptist Church strike again, but this time the ones on the receiving end of the protest are speaking out against the pig-headed group.

Last month, WBC has called on their cohorts to petition One Direction’s July 19 show in Kansas City, Mo. on the basis that the band members are “perverts” and that they represent the “sin-chasing, fag-enabling, God-hating, Christ-rejecting” United Kingdom.

The group’s biggest issue is how the members of the band touch each other inappropriately which fans have just shrugged off as being the norm for the five guys.

“These freaks and their fans think it’s funny for these five perverts to grab each other’s asses on stage,” read the group’s June statement. “They glamorize sin and make a mock of God’s standards. Their one purpose is to encourage the youth of this generation to pursue every lust their evil hearts can imagine.”

On Friday, the protesters got their wish as fellow member showed up with signs that read, “God Hates the UK,” “God Hates Sluts” and “United U Fall.” But while some artists would try to forget about the picketing group, Harry Styles spoke out on Twitter with following message: “Despite the company outside, I believe in equal rights for everyone. I think God loves all. Thanks for coming to the show though.”

The group followed it up by thanking the boy bander for bringing attention to God’s words.

A few weeks back, the group said that they would be protesting against Taylor Swift because she promotes “being a whore.” On Saturday, they planned to protest Train while Sunday, their victims of choice were Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees and New Kids on the Block.

This isn’t the first time that the word “fag” has been thrown around the group; some people often wonder if Styles and bandmate Louis Tomlinson were more than friends. However, they have denied any of that type of talk.

Taylor Swift Added to Westboro ‘Hitlist’

For most of us, the Westboro Baptist Church are nothing but a bunch of attention hungry, over-preaching spineless jellyfish who have nothing better to do then spread misery. From their protests at soldiers’ funerals to picketing concerts, their reputations isn’t exactly one made of gold.

Now, the group have found a new target to boycott and its none other than country darlin’ Taylor Swift.

The Topeka, Kansas-based hate group have announced that they would be picketing Swift’s concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo on August 3; apparently, they don’t like that she has had a revolving door of ‘boyfriends.’

“@TaylorSwift13 works her ‘girl next door’ country-singer shtick, while hopping from one young man to the next and strutting across the world stage like a proud whore,” the group wrote in a recent press release.

But that’s not where the WBC ends because come on, it would not be to easy for them to end it there. They went on to criticize Swift’s father by claiming that “he has no compunction about her immodest vulgar appearance or serial fornication. With a hating hypocrite for a dad – who will jealously guard her income, while not giving a thought for her never-dying soul – no wonder she grew up to be the poster child for the young whores of doomed-america [sic].”

Even though they have gone ahead and called Swift a poster child for “young whores,” they have realized that she is one of the biggest stars in music and that her legions of followers are easily influence by her.

So what do they want out dear, Tay-Tay to do? Tweet things like “Stop fornicating ladies, and obey God” because it would “rock the house.”

WBC believes that Swift uses her Twitter powers for bad by promoting fornication and not preaching the destruction of man through her 140 characters account.

While being interviewed by RadarOnline, WBC member Ben Phelps, who happens to be the grandson of the group’s leader, Fred Phelps Sr., explains why Swift is their latest target.

“This girl is a whore. Who else is gonna say that if it’s not the church of the Lord Jesus? She’s coming into our backyard. We’re gonna go preach to her.”

He continues his rampage by saying that she pretends to be a good Christian, but she’s not because all she does is promote whoredom, fornication and “that” filthy lifestyle.

But while they are making such noise now, nobody should worry because they do have a history on bailing on such events. Maybe they fear that God will strike them down while they’re busy being pig-headed.
