Walk the Moon are closing out the week by giving fans a brand new song. On Friday (Aug. 23), the Ohio-founded band unleashed their third new song of the year, “Lose You Again.’
The tune comes days after the four-piece began teasing new music on social media. Each day, short clips of each band member performing a snippet of the new song would appear on their official social media account.
In a post about the song, the band reveals that “‘Lose You Again’ came from somewhere between our dreams & our nightmares.”
They also revealed that the song came together with the help of BRÅVES.
“The song is a hybrid creation with our brothers, the enigmatic BRÅVES.”
The three-and-a-half-minute clip finds frontman Nick Petricca sitting on a bed, in a dark room surrounded by a notebook, pen, keyboard, and a small flashlight. Randomly, sneaky hands start to appear from the shadows, pushing and pulling him in different directions. We’re not sure if they’re trying to inspire him to write this new song or freak him the hell out.

“Lose You Again is the Walk the Moon’s third standalone single of the year. In January, they premiered their radio smash “Timebomb” and then followed it up a few months later with “Eat Your Heart Out.”
At the moment, it appears that all these songs are standalone singles, but anything can happen within the next couple of months. “Timebomb,” “Eat Your Heart Out,” and “Lose You Again” are Walk the Moon’s first new set of tunes since the release of their fourth studio album, What If Nothing.
Surprise! Walk the Moon have given their fans a brand new song to add to their summer playlist.
On Friday (June 21), the Ohio-founded act released yet another standalone single. Titled “Eat Your Heart Out,” the tune finds the group sticking to what they do best; giving us the perfect combination of danceable beats, drums, guitar, bass, and of course keyboards.
“Hey, friends good news our song EAT YOUR HEART OUT is out there in the world. This one means a lot to us, and we’re super excited to share it with you,” the group tweeted.
To coincide with the track’s debut, the four-piece dropped the music video for “Eat Your Heart Out.”
The four-minute clip features each member of the band performing the song from the comfort of their own homes. The video also includes each member letting loose and goofing off (frontman Nicholas Petricca is even caught wearing a onesie as he plays around in his music room).
The best part of the clip, in our opinion? The inclusion of some of the guys’ dogs because dogs make everything better.
For some fans, the new clip is a flashback to the band’s old days alla their “7in7” music video series.

The new song comes days after fans began receivingpackagesin themailfromthe band. The kits came in plain, white boxes with the band’s name on it. Inside the box was a note and four cookies with one featuring the date “6.21.19” and the link WTMEYHO.com, the other was shaped like a heart with the words “Eat Your Heart Out,” another heart-shaped cookie with a collage of colors, and the additional cookie featured the band’s name printed on it.
Earlier this year, Walk the Moon released “Timebomb.” The track marked the band’s first new song since the release of their fourth studio album, What If Nothing.
Walk the Moon have been known to treat fans to a cover or two in the past; just look at their “What If Covers” series from late last year. Now, the band has added another cover to their quickly growing list. On Monday (March 4), the Ohio-founded act’s cover of Adele’s smash single “Someone Like You” was released.
Filmed during their recent appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the four-and-a-half-minute video finds the four-piece giving the somber track a little bit of an upbeat update. The video was shot while the group was hanging out backstage in the Tonight Show music room.

As previously mentioned, Walk the Moon’s cover of the Adele classic comes months after the band began their own covers series on social media. To date, the quartet has given their own spin to songs such as “Time to Pretend” by MGMT, “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper, and “Tubthumpin” by Chumbawumba. All their covers can be found on their Instagram account.
Recently, the band released their ultra-catchy, standalone single “Timebomb.” “Timebomb” comes more than a year after the release of their fourth studio album, What If Nothing.
The album produced a total of five singles including “One Foot,” “Headphones,” “Surrender,” “Kamikaze,” and “Tiger Teeth” which was given the music video treatment back in October.
Walk the Moon are currently on the road, opening for Muse on their Simulation Theory North American tour. The tour began last month and will find the groups performing across the continent throughout March and April. The full list of current tour dates can be found here.
A couple of weeks after surprising fans with a brand new song, Walk the Moon has returned with its music video. On Wednesday (Jan. 23), the Ohio-founded band unleashed the music video for their latest single, “Timebomb.”
Similar to their live shows, the music video is a dream of bright colors, moving shapes, and a lot of dancing that makes it feel like something straight out of the 80s. But, the video is not only performances in Technicolor rooms. In between all the visually appealing footage, the viewer watches as the band members do sometimes end up performing in gray rooms dressed in the drab color, countering the brightness.

In support of the album’s release, Walk the Moon has been touring around the world nonstop. The band will kick off their headlining tour tonight with a two-night engagement at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville. After being on the road for about a month, the trek will conclude on Feb. 17 at the Mill & Mine in Knoxville.
Last week, the quartet was confirmed as Muse’s supporting act for their Simulation Theory North American tour. Originally only set to open for two stops, the band will now open for Muse on every single stop of this leg.
As if touring across the continent throughout the first half of the year wasn’t enough, Walk the Moon will also perform at several music festivals this summer including Alabama’s Hangout Festival during the weekend of May 17-19, Bonnaroo on June 16, and Delaware’s Firefly Music Festival during the weekend of June 20-23.

Walk the Moon will be returning to the road later this month, but before they do, they just gave fans a brand new song to hold them over until then. On Friday (Jan. 11), the Ohio-founded band unleashed their first new song in over a year. Titled “Timebomb,” the new tune finds the four-piece honing in on the type of dancey-rock music that has become synonymous with their name.

Earlier this week frontman Nick Petricca joined musician morgxn on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where the duo performed their collaboration, “home.”
Walk the Moon have spent most of the year on the road, but that hasn’t stopped them from giving fans new music videos periodically. On Wednesday (Oct. 24), the Ohio-founded band unleashed the music video for their latest single, “Tiger Teeth.” The almost-five-minute music video was shot while the group was on tour in Japan.
The cinematic clip combines concert footage, a trip through a forest, some dancing in the brightly lit city, and a ride on the subway as the guys perform the song. According to a post by the band on Twitter, the music video for the fan-favorite song is a love letter to those who have shown unrelenting love for the four-piece.
“From some blurry concert footage, to a studio recording, to a video shot in japan – you all made this happen. Your enthusiasm and support brought this song to life. So here it is… the tiger teeth music video… a visual love note from us to you,” the band’s post reads.
“Tiger Teeth” was directed by Dusty Kessler (the band’s tour photographer) and Eric Maldin. Watch the beautiful video for “Tiger Teeth” above.
“Tiger Teeth” joins the band’s previously released singles “One Foot,” “Headphones,” “Surrender,” and “Kamikaze” on their recently released record, What If Nothing. What If Nothing was released in November of 2017 via RCA Records.
What If Nothing peaked at the number three spot on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart and number five on Billboard‘s Top Rock albums chart. The record went on the peak at the number 40 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
Walk the Moon will hit the North American touring circuit once more at the beginning of 2019. The band’s previously announced 2019 headlining tour will begin with a two-night engagement at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville on Jan. 23 and 24 and conclude almost a month later on Feb. 17 at the Mill & Mine in Knoxville. Walk the Moon have been a little busy since the release of their third studio album late last year, so it’s not surprising that the band has been a little quiet since then. On Monday (April 16), the Ohio-founded group decided to give their fans something new in the form of unleashing the music video for their latest single, “Kamikaze.”
The clip begins with the band, standing ankle-deep in water while isolated in a dark room. The camera shot shifts to two dancers, dressed in white, standing in a white room countering the dark and wet room the group is housed in. As the video progress and the duo dance around the brightly lit room, the group changes location to dark room lit by bright blue lights as if they were on stage performing for their dedicated fans.
About a minute and a half into the video, the two dancers are joined by more dancers as they dance their way through the three different backgrounds.
“In our song, the Kamikaze is a peaceful warrior of love,” begins a note from frontman Nicholas Petricca on Instagram. “Someone who is willing to sacrifice the status quo. love despite all odds.”

“Kamikaze” is featured on Walk the Moon’s recently released record, What If Nothing which was released in November of 2017. The record landed at the number five on the Top Rock Albums chart, number three on the U.S. Top Alternative Albums chart, and debuted at the number six spot on the U.S. iTunes chart.
In support of What If Nothing‘s release, the group has been on the road touring behind it nonstop. The upcoming trek will kick off on June 6 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Ontario and wrap up a month and a half later on July 22 at the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, Arizona.
The complete list of upcoming tour dates can be found here.
Just when fans thought Thirty Seconds to Mars’ new album would never see the light of day, the band has finally confirmed a release date for it. On Thursday (Feb. 8), frontman Jared Leto made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he announced the release date for the band’s upcoming fifth studio album. The new record, which seems to have been given the title The New Album, will be released on April 6 through the group’s new record label of Interscope Records. The release date confirmation comes over a year after the band promised fans that new music was on the horizon, but kept postponing the release of any new tunes.
Pre-orders for The New Album are currently available on the group’s website. Back in August of 2017, the trio dropped the first single from the new record, “Walk on Water,” which has found massive success on the charts and on rock radio stations around the country. Last month, the group released the record’s second single, “Dangerous Night.” The New Album will be the follow-up to 2013’s LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS.
In support of The New Album‘s release, Thirty Seconds to Mars also announced a massive tour which will find them touring across the continent during the months of June and July. Walk the Moon’s summer was supposed to be packed with a lengthy tour, but now, some unforeseen circumstances has cancelled the trek. On Friday (April 15), the band took to Facebook to announce that their summer “Work This Body” tour has been cancelled. While some fans might be heartbroken about the cancellation, the band’s reasoning is one that can be understood. In the Facebook statement, the band reveals that frontman Nick Petricca’s father has been suffering from early-onset Alzheimer’s for sometime.
At the time of the “Work This Body” tour announcement back in February, the issue was not as severe, but as time passed on, it was evident that Petricca needed to be home with his family. Instead of cancelling all their upcoming engagements, the band has confirmed that they will play their shows in May which includes West Palm Beach’s annual SunFest. As for their July and August shows, the group has revealed that tickets will be refunded. Walk the Moon’s complete statement about the cancellation can be read below.
“Friends,
We are deeply sorry to say that due to a serious illness in Nick’s family, we must cancel this summer’s Work This Body Tour. For many years now, Nick’s dad has been suffering from Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Unfortunately, it’s reached a point where he needs to come home and focus on his family for a while. Out of respect for the immediate commitments we’ve made, we will play out the rest of our shoes in May- after that, we will be taking a break from the road. All tickets to our headline shows in July + August will be refunded. With a heavy heart we send our gratitude out to our team, out industry friends, and most importantly our fans for their understanding and support. Through this time, it continues to be our dream and our mission to take the darkness in our lives and mold it into light + color. The only way out is through. <+>
Love,
WALK THE MOON”
The “Work This Body” tour was supposed to be in support of their 2014 album, Talking is Hard. Last year, the group tour extensively behind the record as well.
