‘The 20/20 Experience’ Part Deux?

Justin Timberlake’s album, The 20/20 Experience hasn’t even been out a week, but there’s talk that a volume two is in the works. Experience hit the web three days early via iTunes, giving fans (and critics alike) the opportunity to listen to the album for free before it actually went on sale.

According to Roots drummer, Questlove who performed with the singer on Jimmy Fallon, Timberlake is already working on the follow up to the album. On Saturday, the drummer posted on an Okayplayer forum that volume two is already in the works and to be prepared for a November release date.

Apparently the spoiler was initially a response to the scathing review that the New York Times gave the album. The critics wrote of the album: “of largely inconsequential beauty, showing Mr. Timberlake as an artist with no incentive to innovate, making his primarily a paean to brand maintenance.”

Questlove responded by writing the following on the message board: “its constructive criticism. i will say the album is OVERLY ambitious. like a LOT of ideas crammed into one. spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now…..10 songs later= 20 vision).”

So the question is, what did you think of The 20/20 Experience? Should it have a volume two or is one enough?
