Fall Out Boy have dropped the music video for their ultra catchy song “Uma Thurman.” But if you’re expecting to see people dancing like Thurman’s character in Pulp Fiction you might be a little disappointed. That aside, the music video is kind of awesome and fun.
The video beings with some contest winner named Sarah getting the chance to become the Chicago band’s personal assistant for 24 hours.
Doesn’t that sound like fun?
Sarah’s day begins with being told to go over to Joe’s house to walk his pet zebras. Yes, Joe (at least in the video) has pet zebras. After that, things get crazy with the band members constantly sending text messages to her to do things like go paintballing, get coffee for Joe, meeting Patrick at a bar for karaoke (in the morning), taking pictures of Pete as he rode a mechanical bull, meeting Andy at the gym for one heck of a workout and much more.
Not going to lie, we would be FOB’s personal assistant if they would pay for our gas. Or we could always take Joe’s car.
Also, keep an eye out for all the special cameos the band got for the video including Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie who was present when Pete asked for an extra player for paintball.
“Uma Thurman” is featured on Fall Out Boy’s recently released album American Beauty/American Psycho. In June, they will be hitting the road for their “Boys of Zummer” tour with Wiz Khalifa and Hoodie Allen.
