Incubus Reveal New Album Name, Release Date

A week after dropping the official single from their upcoming new album, Incubus have given fans the information they’ve been waiting on; the official name and release date for it.

Taking to Instagram, the band revealed that the first of their two EPs set to be released this year will be titled Trust Fall (Side A) and will hit shelves, and digital media markets, on March 24.

But that’s not where all the good news ends.

The California band also released the cover art and tracklist for the album which can be seen below, though the names of the tracks to be featured on the EP had previously been announced.

Coincidentally, all the news came on the heels of their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where “Absolution Calling” made its official television debut. As for the rest of the tracks on Trust Fall, the band debuted the title track back in December while performing at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas.

Incubus promised us a new song last week, and now we have received it.

Th new track, the band’s first new official song since 2011’s If Not Now, When?, is titled “Absolution Calling” and can be heard below.

As if the new song wasn’t enough, the band also revealed that they will be releasing two new EPs this year.

According to some sources the first of the two album could be released as soon as the end of this month while the second album has a projected release time frame of this Summer.

“Absolution Calling” will join “Make Out Party,” “Dance Like You’re Dumb,” and previously performed song, “Trust” Fall,” which made its performance debut back in December at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas.
