Charli XCX announces new studio album, massive tour for September and October

Charli XCX is by far one of the most hardworking people in pop music, and it looks like she’s about to keep that title with her slew of good news. On Friday (June 14), the musician announced the upcoming release of her third studio album. Titled Charli, the record will feature guest appearances by Lizzo, Christine and the Queens, HAIM, Troye Sivan, Sky Ferreira, Kim Petras, and many more.

Previously released tracks “1999” featuring Troye Sivan and “Blame it on Your Love” featuring Lizzo will be included on the 15-track record. Charli is due out Sept. 13 through Atlantic Records. Pre-orders for the album are available here.

Charli is the follow-up to 2014’s Sucker.

To celebrate the new announcement, Charli has released the official music video for one of the album’s collaborations, “Blame it on Your Love” with Lizzo. Watch the three-and-a-half-minute music video for the summer jam above.

As if the new album announcement and music video weren’t enough, the pop star has unveiled plans to embark on a fall time outing later this year to coincide with her album’s release.

The North American leg of the Charli LIVE World Tour will find the singer performing at venues across the continent throughout September and October. The 21-stop tour includes shows in Nashville, Houston, San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Denver, Boston, and more.

The forthcoming excursion begins on Sept. 20 at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta and concludes a month later on Oct. 22 at Terminal 5 in New York. Tickets go on sale next Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. local time.

Tommy Genesis, Brooke Candy, Dorian Electra & Allie X will support Charli on select dates.
