5 Seconds of Summer Announce ‘Sounds Good Feels Good’

Surprise! 5 Seconds of Summer’s new album will be coming out in a couple of months.

A week after the debut of the music video for their lead single, the Australian band has announced that their sophomore album will be titled Sounds Good Feels Good and is set to be released on Oct. 23 through Hi Or Hey Records/Capitol Records. The new record will feature a total of 14 new songs including “She’s Kinda Hot” all produced by super pop-punk producer, John Feldmann.

Pre-orders for Sounds Good Feels Good will officially become available this Friday, Aug. 14 on the band’s website.

In addition to the news, the band has also released the complete track list for the album, which ca be seen below as well as the cover art, also available below. For anyone who had been following the road to the announcement, many of the symbol on the cover art will seem familiar.

Like the “She’s Kinda Hot” unveiling, the name of the album is spray pained onto what looks like a concrete wall. The fox with the crossed out eyes also made a cameo during the “She’s Kinda Hot” reveal (we kind of thought it was a dig like ‘she’s a fox, but a mean’). Then, there’s the image of the television which is how the whole cryptic announcement for the new album was made. and lastly, there’s the broken heart symbol that during the first cryptic new album announcement kept populating all over the world on many famous landmarks.

Coheed and Cambria Unveil New Album Track List, Cover Art

COHEED AND CAMBRIA To Release First Non-Conceptual Album 'The Color Before The Sun'

A month after releasing “You Got Spirit, Kid,” the lead single from their upcoming new album, Coheed and Cambria are back with the official track list and cover art for The Color Before the Sun.

The new record will include ten new tracks including “You Got Spirit, Kid” and marks the first record that is not part of their fictional Armory Wars concept. ever record from them since their debut was all part of the concept.

The Color Before the Sun is set to be released on Oct. 9 through 300 Entertainment. and it’s available for pre-order now on the band’s website.

According to a press release, this album will be told from frontman Claudio Sanchez’s perspective about life. Things like fatherhood, feelings of losing a home, and such will be told in his own way.

“Claudio Sanchez is exposing his raw feelings, narrated from his own perspective — the anxiety of fatherhood, the disorienting feeling of losing a home, the reflections had during early-morning walks. His own story is told through big, bright, driving, colorful songs that beam like power-pop, crunch like vintage ‘90s emocore and float with the expansive feel of space-rock.”

Atreyu Release “Long Live” Video, Tour Dates

Several days after releasing what appeared to be a two short music video snippets on Instagram, Atreyu have officially released the full music video for their latest single and title track, “Long Live.”

The music video for “Long Live” was directed by the group’s bassist, Marc McKnight and showcases the band’s tonal direction for the new album which has repeatedly been described as them going back to their older sound.

Rancid Reveal New Album Info

Sundays usually mean relaxing, but for Rancid, that’s not in the cards on this Sunday.

Today, the punk band took to their Facebook to release the album art and track list for their new album. The record, which will be the California band’s eighth album will be named Honor Is All We Know. For fans of the band, the title should not be a shock because during a 2013 Reddit interview, drummer Branden Steineckert revealed the title and that a 2014 release date was in the cards.

As of now, the only thing that has been confirmed is the album name, track list, artwork and that it was produced by Bad Religions’s Brett Gurewitz at The Boat + Red Star in Los Angeles and will be released through Hellcat Records/Epitaph Records.

Lana Del Rey Officially Reveals Album Release Date and Tracklist

Taking pity on her fans, Lana Del Rey has finally revealed that one of the most anticipated albums of the year, her new material Ultraviolence will be released on June 17 through Interscope Records. A few months back, she revealed to a fan that the album will be due out at the beginning of May leading to much excitement for diehard fans.

The beginning of May has come and gone and still nothing. During her show in Montreal, she revealed the album would be released “next month.” This time, it was not a joke.

Along with the confirmed release date, she has also unveiled the cover art for the album as well as the tracklist. According to the list, there will be 11 new tracks and three bonus.

Fearless Records Release ‘Punk Goes 90s: Vol. 2’ Track List

Earlier this week, a picture from a magazine revealed the list of artists that will be featured on the upcoming Punk Goes… series, Punk Goes 90s: Volume II.

Today, Fearless Records has officially revealed the full list of artists that will be on the new compilation as well as the tracks for the 90s that they will be covering. Up until now, the only band and their cover that was known was Get Scared and their cover of Lit’s biggest hit, “My Own Worst Enemy” which became the lead single for the compilation.

VERSA Release ‘NEON’ Track List

Fans of VERSA (formerly VersaEmerge), it’s finally happened.The band have announced that a new EP will be released soon.

After almost a year since the initial announcement that they were working on a new album and their decision to pull out of the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, VERSA have released the track list for their EP, NEON.

While the record will only have three tracks on it, fans can finally put those rumors of the group breaking up to rest. Some were probably hoping that a lot more track would be present on the album considering that they had gone into hibernation to make it, but it seems that three tracks are all they are giving out.

Beginning tomorrow, January 21, the album will be sold through the band’s BandCamp where fans will be able to pay whatever they want for it.

But the questions still remains, what was it that caused the duo to get dropped by their former label, Fueled by Ramen, change their name and pretty much start from scratch just to give their fans a three song EP? For now, the world will never know.

Eminem’s commercial for his upcoming album, MMLP2 might have been outdone by a skeletal white girl trying to twerk, but it didn’t mean that the release of his new album will go unnoticed. with this lead single, ” ” being used in a Call of Duty commercial for its newest installment to the new Beastie Boys sounding song (lead single, “Bezerk”), it looks like the rapper is showing that people still do care about him, even after being away for sometime.

Yesterday, Eminem revealed the full track listing for The Marshall Mathers LP 2 as well as some artists that he would be collaborating with. Some of the collaborators are old favorite such as Rihanna who worked with him on “Love the Way You Lie” and former porn star turned actress/singer, Skylar Grey that also collaborated with him once before on Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor.”

Also appearing on the album with Slim Shady are Kendrick Lamar and fun. frontman, Nate Ruess. Yes, you read that right, the singer of that “We Are Young” song and Eminem on the same track.

The news of the track list comes a few days after the rapper released the official music video for the Call of Duty; Ghost song, “Survival.” in the few days since its debut, the video has racked up over seven million plays.
