Paramore and Foster the People to embark on summer tour

Rise and shine Roseville, because Paramore have some big news. On Thursday (March 8), the Tennessee-founded band announced plans to continuing touring behind their recently released record, After Laughter. Taking social media, the trio announced that their upcoming trek will be named the After Laughter Summer Tour (aka Tour 5) and will travel across the continent throughout the months of June and July.

Paramore’s impending excursion will kick off on June 12 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augustine, Fla. and wrap up a month and a half later on July 24 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo.

Hitting the road alongside the group for most of the tour stops will be Foster the People. With the exception of two tour stops – June 15 at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh and July 1 at the Farm Brook Pavilion in Indianapolis – the California-founded band will open for Paramore during the trek.

Tickets for the upcoming summer tour will go on sale beginning next Friday, March 16, at 10 a.m. local time while pre-sales will begin next Tuesday, March 13, at 10 a.m. local time. Like with their past North American tour dates, Paramore will once again partner with Ticketmaster to use its Verified Fan platform so that fans, not bots, get the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets.

Registration for Paramore’s fan pre-sale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan will begin today and conclude on Sunday, March 11 at 10 p.m. ET.

Prior to embarking on their summertime tour, Paramore will hit the high seas in April for the third incarnation of their PARAHOY! cruise. Joining Paramore for the four-day trip will be mewithoutYou, Judah & the Lion, Now Now, and Local Natives.
