‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Love You’ to get the soundtrack treatment

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, which means the sequel to Netflix’s hit movie “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” is going to squeeze our hearts like a grape. But watching Lara Jean’s love story progress (and meet some obstacles) isn’t the only gift we’re getting for the love-centric holiday.

On Wednesday (Jan. 29), Netflix, in conjunction with Capitol Records, Awesomeness Films, and Ace Entertainment, announced plans to unleash a soundtrack for “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You.”

This will be the first official soundtrack for the book-turned-film franchise. “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” did not get a soundtrack when the original movie was released in 2018, but there seems to be a playlist floating around Spotify.

The 15-track album will include new tracks from Sofi Tukker, Hey Violet, Marina, CYN, OTR, Bad Child, The New Respects, and more.

The forthcoming soundtrack is due out Feb. 7 through Capitol Records. “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You” is due out a few days later on Feb. 12, just in time for you to gather all your girlfriends and celebrate Galentine’s Day.

The CD version of the soundtrack is due out April 17, while a vinyl version of the record will be released on May 22.

“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You” follows Lara Jean and Peter as they make their relationship “officially official,” but like real life, some obstacles appear when another recipient of one of her old love letters enters the picture.
