The 35-stop jaunt will begin on June 14 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and conclude almost two months later on Aug. 3 at the FivePoint Amphitheatre presented by Mercury Insurance in Irvine, California.

New York-founded five-piece Ra Ra Riot will open for both bands throughout the full excursion.

“We couldn’t be more excited to spend our 25th summer as a band touring the country of our birth to play music for our American fans!” Jimmy Eat World posted on Twitter about the newly announced tour.

“Excited to head out on the Summer Gods Tour 2019 with Jimmy Eat World!” Third Eye Blind posted on their Twitter account.

Blink-182, Coheed and Cambria, Jack White to headline Bunbury Music Festival 2018

Blink-182, Coheed and Cambria, and Jack White are just some of the bands who make their way to Ohio in early June for this year’s Bunbury Music Festival. On Friday (Jan. 26), the Cincinnati-based music festival unveiled its lengthy and rock band-centric lineup for the 2018 incarnation of the annual event.

Blink-182 spent most of last year on the road touring behind 2016’s release, California, as well as dropping music videos for as many of the record’s tracks as possible. Much like blink, Coheed and Cambria hit the road in the spring of 2017 where they performed their third studio album, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness, in its entirety at every show.

As for Jack White, Bunbury is another music festival that the musician will perform at during the summer months. Earlier this month, the former White Stripes frontman confirmed not only the release of his third studio album (Boarding House Reach), but also a lengthy tour which includes all his previously announced music festival appearances.

Joining blink-182, Coheed and Cambria, and White on the bill for the music festival’s seventh year will be Incubus, Royal Blood, Foster the People, Third Eye Blind, Dropkick Murphys, Young the Giant, The Front Bottoms, Peter Bjorn and John, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Fitz and the Tantrums, Misterwives, LANY, and many more.

“We are very excited about the lineup we’ve put together for 2018,” says PromoWest Productions’ Scott Stienecker in a press release. “The caliber, strength and depth of this year’s festival is attributed, in large part, to the city of Cincinnati and its continued support to make this one of the premier boutique musical festivals in the country.”

Tickets for the three-day music festival are currently available with three different ticket options to pick from. For more information, head on over to Bunbury’s website here.

Bunbury Music Festival 2018 is set to take place during the weekend of June 1-3 at the music festival’s usual location along the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati. As with previous years, the festival will encompass the entire area throughout Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove.

For now, the complete lineup for the 2018 incarnation of Bunbury Music Festival can be seen below.

Eminem, Jack White, Yeah Yeah Yeahs to headline Governors Ball 2018

Eminem, Jack White, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are just a handful of artists who will be heading to New York this summer for the eighth annual Governors Ball Music Festival. On Wednesday (Jan. 3), the full lineup for the 2018 incarnation of the annual summertime festival was announced. Like previous years, this year’s lineup boosts a mix of artists from different genres making sure to satisfy everyone’s music taste.

For Eminem, Governors Ball will mark the rapper’s second major 2018 music festival appearance. On Tuesday, Jan. 2, Eminem was confirmed as one of the three main headliners for Coachella 2018. The two music festival engagements will be in support of the rapper’s luke warmly-received ninth studio album, Revival.

For Jack White, his appearance at Governors Ball just adds to the speculation that he will be releasing a new album sometime in the new year. Though White previously teased fans with a weird video, no official title or release date has been given for the new album. White’s last studio album was 2014’s Lazaretto.

For the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Governors Ball marks the band’s first major show in a long time. Back in October, the group performed their first concert in four years when they took the stage to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of their debut album, Fever to Tell.

In addition to Eminem, Jack White, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, this year’s Governors Ball lineup also includes acts like N.E.R.D, Silk City (Diplo and Mark Ronson), the Gaslight Anthem, Halsey, CVRCHES, Cut Copy, Galantis, Japandroids, Third Eye Blind, Vic Mensa, LANY, The Menzingers, Wolf Alice, The Struts, and Sir Sly.

Governors Ball will mark N.E.R.D’s first show in New York since 2010. The Pharrell Williams-led act recently released their critically acclaimed fifth studio album, No_One Every Really Dies.

For The Gaslight Anthem, 2018 will mark the ten-year anniversary of the release of their sophomore, and much beloved album, The ’59 Sound. To celebrate the record’s anniversary, the band will perform the album in full during their time slot at the music festival. The album went on to be named eMusic’s “Best Album of 2008.”

Three-day general admission tickets, as well as VIP passes, are currently available at a special “announce day” price. Regular ticket prices will resume at midnight on Jan. 4. The 2018 edition of Governors Ball Music Festival will take place during the weekend of June 1 – 3 at Randall’s Island in New York City.
