Listen: Charlie Puth unleashes ‘The Way I Am’

With a week left until the release of his much-anticipated sophomore album, Charlie Puth is giving fans one more new song to hold them over until the album is securely in their hands (or mobile devices). On Thursday (May 3), the New York-based singer unveiled his fourth official single from Voicenotes; “The Way I Am.” Listen to the new song above.

“The Way I Am” will join previously release singles “Attention,” “How Long,” and “Done for Me” on the musician’s forthcoming new record. Both “How Long” and “Attention” have been certified platinum. The new album will also include a song featuring legendary R&B vocal group, Boyz II Men (“If You Leave Me Now”) and a new tune featuring James Taylor (“Change”).

Voicenotes will be released on May 11 through Atlantic Records. Pre-orders for the album are currently available on Puth’s website hereVoicenotes is the highly anticipated follow-up to the musician’s 2016, RIAA-certified platinum debut album, Nine Track Mind.

In support of the upcoming release, Puth announced a massive summertime tour late alst year. The Voicenotes tour will kick off on July 11 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Ontario and conclude a month and a half later on Sept. 1 at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida. The complete list of upcoming summer tour dates can be found here.
