With all the drama surrounding Blink-182 over the past month, it’s kind of surprise that the group have decided to forge on by replacing founding member Tom DeLonge with a new singer; but what are you going to do when there are contractually obligated shows you need to perform at?
Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and now-singer Matt Skiba, made their debut as the newly revised Blink-182 at The Roxy last night (March 18). The gig was part warm-up, part introductory before the band hit the stage at Barker’s Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival in Orange County on Sunday (March 22).
The band’s setlist featured over 20 songs including songs like “Feeling This,” “What’s My Age Again?,” “The Rock Show,” “Carousel,” and “Dammit.”
Thanks to those in the audience, footage from the show was shot and can be viewed below.
Now, the question becomes, how do we feel about Skiba taking over for DeLonge?
