The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus share their animated music video for ‘Fighting Everything’

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have returned with a brand new song and its accompanying music video. On Tuesday (April 23), the Florida-founded band unleashed the music video for their latest single, “Fighting Everything.” The four-minute clip primarily features images that look as though they were cut out of magazines and superimposed on different-colored backgrounds to fit the mood of the song. Between the superimposed images, the lyrics for the track are displayed across the screen for the viewer to see.

In a post on Facebook, the band teased fans about phase two of some kind of movement, though no other details were given.

“Here’s the last animated lyric video from movement one off our new record, “FIGHTING EVERYTHING”! Please share, movement two begins,” the band’s caption reads.

“Fighting Everything” is featured on the act’s 2018 release, The Awakening.

The music video’s release comes as the group is in the middle of their United States-centric tour with Alesana, The Veer Union, Rest Repose, and Alive in Barcelona.

The bands concluded the first leg of the tour earlier this month and will resume their previously announced itinerary in May. The remaining tour stops include shows at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood (May 8), Slidebar in Fullerton (May 9), 1933 in Bakersfield (May 10), and Goldfield in Sacramento (May 12).

Following a few months off, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will appear at two summertime music festivals; Lifest in Wisconsin on July 11 and Inkarceration Fest in Ohio on July 12.

Godsmack, Fiver Finger Death Punch, Taking Back Sunday lead INKCARCERATION 2019 lineup

Godsmack, Taking Back Sunday, Five Finger Death Punch, and Shinedown are just some of the acts who will head to Ohio this summer for the second annual INKCARCERATION Music and Tattoo Festival. On Tuesday (Jan. 15), festival organizers unveiled the rock-centric roster for this year’s event.

Joining the aforementioned acts on the bill are +LIVE+, Seether, Skillet, I Prevail, Starset, Motionless in White, Red Sun Rising, Fozzy, Buckcherry, POD, Andrew W.K., the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and more. In total, over 30 bands will take over one of two stages throughout the weekend-long festivities.

In addition to the rocking lineup, the music festival will also include over 70 booths of local and regional tattoo artists. The list of tattoo artists who will be attending this year’s event can be found here. For those who are interested in getting a tattoo during the three-day event, all you need to do is select the artist you would like to work with and schedule an appointment. Simple as that.

If music and tattoos weren’t enough to get you excited, organizers also revealed that attendees can experience Escape From Blood Prison, the annual Halloween haunted house attraction hosted at the Ohio State Reformatory during the months of September, October, and November. This year, the attraction will give attendees the opportunity to experience the frights and sights in early July.

“It’s an honor to be able to open the doors of Blood Prison a couple of months early and give the guests of INKCARCERATION a few scares in July! The warden, his family and the Blood Prison inmates are all excited to meet the fans at INKCARCERATION,” says Vic Amesquita, manager of Blood Prison.

But music, tattoos, and haunted houses are not the only chilling attractions INKCARCERATION will offer this year. Organizers also revealed that attendees can take part in self-guided tours of the historic Ohio State Reformatory, home of the “Shawshank Prison,” during the music festival. According to the festival’s website, the complete, immersive tour should take roughly an hour and a half, so it may be wise to plan accordingly.

“Building off such a strong inaugural year, we are so stoked to give our fans even more in year two,” begins a press statement from the music festival’s promoters.

“With Billboard chart-topping bands such as Shinedown, Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch leading the way, tattoo artists from around the globe, and the historic backdrop of the haunted Shawshank Prison, INKCARCERATION 2019 will be the don’t miss rock event of the summer in the Midwest!”

INKCARCERATION 2019 will take place at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio during the weekend of July 12-14. Tickets for the music festival are currently available here.
