After announcing that they will be performing an album release show in Mexico City, Pierce the Veil has now confirmed that they will be hitting the road this summer. On Thursday (April 7), the California-based band announced the first leg of their upcoming world tour. The tour will be in support of their upcoming, new album Misadventures. During this summer North American leg, the band will play the new album in full; the only time they will be doing such a thing.
“We wanted to celebrate our new album by putting on a once in a lifetime performance for our fans and offer them something that we’ve never done in the past. Playing an album live in its entirety is a rare and unique experience,” explains frontman Vic Fuentes. “It’s special because it usually only happens once, and then it’s gone forever. We look forward to sharing these new songs and seeing everyone at the shows.”
I the Mighty and Movements have been announced as Pierce the Veil’s supporting acts for the trek. Tickets for “The Misadventures” tour will go on sale beginning Friday, April 8 at 10 am local time. For those hardcore fans, VIP packages, which will include band meet and greets, will also be available.
