Plain White T’s to Head Out on Tour

The Plain White T’s haven’t had a monster hit like 2007’s “Hey There, Delilah,” but it doesn’t mean that the boys have gone into hiding or disbanded in the meantime.

Since then, they had released 2008’s Big Bad World which included songs such as “1, 2, 3, 4” and “Natural Disaster” which were hots, but not as big as “Delilah” was. Last year, they covered The Ramones’ song, “Pet Sematary” that was featured on the soundtrack to Tim Burton’s film, Frankenweenie.

Today, the band have released the first single from their new album. The new album will be titled, American Nights, while the lead single had been revealed to be “The Giving Tree.” The new song has been out since about April and was featured on their latest EP, Should’ve Gone to Bed.

As for the official video for the song, it is scheduled to premiere on Vevo on October 22, next Tuesday. Aside from all the new music news, the band have also announced that they will be heading out on a co-headlining tour with Parachute starting on November 5.

For now, listen to “The Giving Tree” from the EP and check out all the tour stops after the stream of the song.
