Mötley Crüe Extend Final Tour, Release New Single

Mötley Crüe announced last year that they had planned to call it a day on the band, but before they did so, that they would head out on one last, epic world tour.

The members were so serious about this “final tour” that they all signed contracts promising this was the end of the 80s band.

This week, they made headlines again, but this time it was to reveal that they had decided to extend their “Final Tour.” Originally, the tour wrapped up last November, but with this new revelation, the tour will wrap up on New Year’s Eve 2015.

Like the 2014 incarnation of the tour, Alice Cooper will head out on the road with them once again.

As if the extended tour schedule wasn’t enough, the band have also released their final single, a track titled, “All Bad Things.” The lyrics for the new track aren’t lost on us though. With lyrics like “All bad things must end/ All bad things must die” it kind of makes us wonder if they’re talking about the band or something bigger.

Check out the new track below as well as the newly revised tour dates which may, or may not, be extended once more in the future.

Mötley Crüe Officially Call it a Day in a Big Way

After much speculation about Mötley Crüe calling it a day and a massive tour happening in honor of it, it has officially been confirmed that this upcoming tour will indeed be their last one. They’re taking the tour and end of the band so serious, that all four members have signed a contract saying that this is the end.

“All bad things must come to an end” reads the official poster hanging behind a panel of people including: Rick Franks, Live Nation’s Regional President of North America Concerts; Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO of Dodge Brand: and the man behind Big Machine Records, Scott Borchetta and after that band members Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars

In a press conference which featured all four band members in the flesh as well as tour mate, Alice Cooper, information had been revealed. The tour will be made up of 72 stops which have been released and can be seen below. Pre-sales for those in their fan club and VIPs are scheduled to begin tomorrow, Wednesday January 29th while general sales will begin on Friday, January 31st on their website.

Reportedly, tickets will be priced so that the final tour can be as inclusive as possible and was a unanimous decision on everyone’s part.

But the tour isn’t the only thing happening to commemorate the announcement. According to Borchetta, his label will be putting out a tribute album of Mötley Crüe covers all performed by Big Machine artists such as Florida Georgia Line, The Eli Young Band, Leann Rimes and more. Borchetta was asked if there might be a Taylor Swift cover of “Dr, Feelgood,” but he said very unlikely.
