Rise Against to Hit the Road with Touche Amore


Rise Against have already revealed their plans to release a new album this Summer titled, The Black Market as well as the track list for the upcoming record, but now they have announced plans to hit the road later this year to support it.

Joining the Chicago-based band across the country will be California’s Touché Amoré and Missouri’s Radkey.

The tour is slated to begin during the weekend of September 12. If that date sounds oddly familiar to you, it’s because it’s the weekend of Chicago’s Riot Fest which will have the guys of Rise Against performing in their hometown.

Rise Against Debut “I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore”


Last week, Rise Against revealed that their new album would be titled The Black Market and that it would be released on July 15. Along with that music news, the band also revealed that they would be releasing the first single off of the new album today (June 10). the song, is titled “I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore” and the lyric video for it can be heard below.

During an interview with Kerrang!, frontman Tim McIlrath revealed four additional song titles for tracks being featured on the album: “The Great Die Off”, “People Live Here”, “Zero Visibility” and “Awake Too Long.”

They also revealed plans to support the new album by going out on tour and hitting up several festivals including all three dates of Riot Fest and Budweiser’s Made in America-Los Angeles. We can only assume that a full tour in support of the album will come right on the heels of the festival dates. 

Rise Against Reveal New Album Release Date


Rise Against have already revealed plans for their upcoming new album, and now, not only have we been given an album titled and a release date, we have also gotten a little taste of what to expect.
The band’s seventh album will be titled The Black Market and is set to be released on July 15. The album’s first single, “I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore” is set to be released next Tuesday, June 10 through digital download and streaming.

“Rise Against has always been a political band, but also a personal band,” said frontman Tim McIlrath in a release. “We’ve always had songs that have a foot in both worlds. This album is a lot more introspective to me.”


As for the short video, the band have been releasing similar videos for fans since the initial announcement had been made about the new record. Check out the newest video and don’t forget that Rise Against are set to headline all three Riot Fests (Denver, Chicago and Toronto) later this year as well as the he Made In America Festival in Los Angeles and Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, so if you want to see them, you might want to get tickets soon.
