Marvel teases Taskmaster’s introduction in the latest ‘Black Widow’ teaser

When Natasha Romanoff was killed off in “Avengers: Endgame,” the fury fans unleashed was immense, to say the least.

One thing that kept them from burning down the house (of mouse) was the fact that we would be getting a standalone Black Widow movie in 2020.

On Monday night (Jan. 13), Marvel Studios unleashed a new trailer for the forthcoming release, though it does use a lot of previously seen footage. From the second the trailer begins, you can feel the action spy-thriller vibes from the minute-and-a-half clip.

The sneak-peek begins with everyone’s favorite secret agent assassin (Scarlett Johansson) meeting up with her un-biological sister Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh). During their meet up, Natasha tells Yelena that she’s on the run after “trying to do something good” (a callback to the fact that this film is supposed to take place after the events in “Captain America: Civil War” but before “Avengers: Infinity War”).

The action goes into overdrive after we get reacquainted with the rest of Natasha’s family members Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz). We are introduced to the new generation of Black Widows who seem to be just as deadly as Natasha, Yelena, and Melina, and yes, we get to finally see the Taskmaster in all his glory take on the Red Guardian.

“Black Widow” kicks its way into theaters on May 1.

Watch The Avengers Play ‘Family Feud’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

Family Feud is probably one of the best shows to watch if you ever need a good laugh. Whether it’s the fighting among the family or the things that come out of contestants’ mouths, there’s always something to laugh about.

Come on, there are so many compilations of Steve Harvey’s face when people say inappropriate things to last us the rest of the afternoon.

So what happens when you take the cast of The Avengers and put them in the Family Feud set up?

Hilarity, of course.

Last night, during their promotional round on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy Kimmel pitted the cast against each other in Avengers Family Feud.

Family one, also known as “The Americas” featured Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Jermey Renner while family two also known as “The Mans” included  Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Hemsworth.

So many arguments and disagreements made the audience and viewers crack up including listening to Scarlett and Chris H. argue over whether or not “yoga instructor” qualifies as a profession that wears tights. Scarlett said “no” while Chris kept insisting on “yes.”

Guess who was right?

Anyway, check out the eight minute video below.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1st.

‘Avengers’ Fans Assemble to Unlock New Trailer

After issuing a call to arms for all Avengers fans on Twitter, the official third trailer for one of the Summer’s highly anticipated films has been released.

Originally scheduled to debut tomorrow evening during the premiere of ABC’s new drama, American Crime, the newest trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron has landed.

The trailer starts with Ultron explaining to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver how he was “designed to save the world,” but as we all can figure out, that went south. While the trailer shows a lot of destruction and “Earth’s Mightiest” trying to take down the evil that Tony created, there’s a special blink and you miss it appearance; the debut of the Vision.

After playing second fiddle to the Avengers especially in the recently released poster, we finally see Paul Bettany’s new character (sorry JARVIS) in action for a couple of seconds.

Check out the complete two minutes trailer below.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theater on May 1st.

Avengers Assemble?

Late last night, the official trailer for the upcoming second installment of The Avengers series, Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, was leaked, but instead of letting this breach get to them, Disney and Marvel decided it was better to just release the official trailer for everyone to see five days ahead of schedule.

If you are one of those viewers who are still tuning in to watch Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC every Tuesday, then you knew that this upcoming Tuesday, Oct. 28, the mega-companies were going to premiere the trailer during the show.

But with such a highly anticipate film and all the picture that were constantly popping up during filming, did they really think they were going to be able to keep this trailer secret for that long? Come on, even Tony Stark messes up once in a while.

Check out the official trailer below which introduces us to Ultron, voiced by James Spader as well as newcomers, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) who we briefly met at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released on May 1, 2015, so start making plans to line-up for the film because if this week ahead of time leak is any indication, it’s going to be a hit.

Robert Downey Jr Signs on for ‘Avengers’ Sequel

rdj

Joss Whedon sure knows how to make fans sweat because the director of last year’s hit film, The Avengers, had fans doing so for quite sometime when he said that there was a possibility that Robert Downey Jr. would not be returning to the franchise to take on his iconic role as billionaire, superhero, Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Today, we got word that Downey had signed a two-film deal with Marvel/Disney which keeps him inside of Iron Man’s gold and burgundy suit for another two films aka Marvel’s The Avengers 2 and Marvel’s The Avengers 3.

Whedon has also been confirmed to be returning to the franchise as both writer and director for the sequels to 2012’s highest grossing film. As of today, The Avengers which starred Downey, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner has made over $1.5 billion.

Production on the sequel is scheduled to begin in March 2014 and will introduce new characters to the franchise as well as bring back some oldies and goodies like Stark and the rest of his world saving cohorts. By estimation, the sequel should hit theaters by May 1, 2015; a little under three years after the original film debuted.

Downey has been playing Tony Stark since 2008 when the original Iron Man premiered and went on to portray everyone’s favorite narcissists through Iron Man 2 and this year’s Iron Man 3.

Now all we have to do is sit back and wait for The Avengers 2, but that’s okay, all the other sequels to the individual Avengers’ films are coming our way fast. Thor 2: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Solider
