Frnkiero andthe cellabration to Headline U.K. Tour

image

Frankiero andthe cellabration recently revealed they will be heading out on their first ever headlining tour here in North America following a year of playing supporting act for several bands including Taking Back Sunday and The Used.

Now, the band will be taking the show to the United Kingdom for their first ever U.K. headlining tour. Last year, they toured the U.K. as a supporting act for Mallory Knox.

In a statement, Iero said, “I’m really looking forward to taking this full record to the UK in April. When making Stomachaches, I really wanted you to feel like you were listening in on the songs as opposed to listening to them. And I believe the venues chosen for this headline run will support that idea.”

Iero’s North American headlining tour will begin on Feb. 18 at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York and wrap up on Apr. 2 in Iero’s home state of New Jersey at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.

After that, the band will pack up their stuff and head across the pond for a nine-day trek beginning at The Deaf Institute in Manchester and then wrap up at the Wedgewod Rooms in Portsmouth.

Full tour dates can be seen below (both North American and U.K. dates).

Frnkiero andthe cellabration Go “Joyriding”

image

After hinting at their new music video, Frnkiero andthe cellbaration have finally released the music video for their second single, “Joyriding.”

It was announced last week that this track, which happened to be the first demo from the new project to be released, would become the second single from their recently released album, stomachaches.

For anyone that feels a little surprised by all the blood in the video, this is Frank Iero we are talking about; Halloween baby to the end. Plus, the first music video wasn’t exactly rainbow and unicorns, you know with the kidnapping of a corpse and pulling out the insides of those pesky “goonies” that kidnapped the corpse.

If you pay close enough attention to the beginning of the “Weighted” video, you will notice the music video for “Joyriding” is the same video playing on the television in the main kid’s room.

Check out the video below.

Frankiero andthe cellaration will soon be heading out on tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used in support of stomachaches. After that, the group are slated to head across the pond on another tour.

Time to Go “Joyriding” with Frnkiero andthe Cellabration

wpid-frnkiero-weighted-video.jpeg

Last week, former My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero and his new project premiered their music video for the creepy, but cool “Weighted.”

Yesterday, Frnkiero andthe Cellabration premiered another new track from their upcoming debut record, Stomachaches. If the new song, “Joyriding,” sounds oddly familiar to some of you, it’s the song that Iero posted last year when word first go around that he would be pursuing a side project after the official end of My Chem.

Check out the official studio version of the track below.

Stomachaches comes out on August 26 through Staple Records. If you currently pre-order the album, you can receive an instant download of both “Weighted” and “Joyriding.”

The newly formed band will be heading out on tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used beginning in early September and wrapping up in early October.

Watch Frnkiero and the cellabrations’ Debut Music Video

After weeks of teasing with pictures and hints, Frnkiero and the Cellbaration have finally released the music video for their lead single, “Weighted.”

The video, which goes from “okay cute” with a Goonies-esque opening scene of a group of kids on their bikes outside of a funeral home to “creepy” in no time. The black and white video plays up the creepy, Halloween-centric-ness that we have come to enjoy from frontman Iero perfectly well. Come on, the first shot of Iero features him inside of a coffin and the little kids want to “steal the corpse.”

Oh yeah, we won’t mention what happens towards the end of the video. Check it all out here.

“I’m so excited for people to see this video we made,” said Iero.

“When I first wrote out the treatment/concept, I knew it had to be John Carlucci and Brandon Laganke in the directors chair and my friend Tate Steinsiek on special effects. No one else could have made my dreams a reality like they did. I needed incredibly talented, sick-in-the-head individuals who didn’t mind working 32 hours a day to make this all happen. And I must say I am forever indebted to their beautifully deranged spirits.”

“Weighted” is the first single from the newly-formed group’s upcoming debut, Stomachaches which will be release through Staples Record on August 26.

In support of their debut record, Iero and company (guitarist Evan Nestor, bassist Rob Hughes, and drummer Matt Olsson) will be heading out on tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used beginning at the end of the month.
