Pierce the Veil and Sum 41 are gearing up to hit the road this spring. On Wednesday (March 1), it was confirmed that the Canadian group and the California-based based will headline a joint tour in April and May. The joint excursion, which is sponsored by Loudwire, will be called the “Loudwire Lives Presents We Will Detonate!” tour. The month-and-a-half long tour will kick off on April 21 with back-to-back nights at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colo. The tour will officially wrap up on May 25 at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas.

The spring tour will also include several music festival stops for Pierce the Veil including their appearances at Florida’s 90 Rock Fest and Welcome to Rockville as well as Carolina Rebellion, Point Fest, and Rocklahoma. Hitting the road alongside Pierce the Veil and Sum 41 will be Emarosa and Chapel.

“The fuse is burning and we’re counting down the days till the ‘We Will Detonate!’ tour this spring,” Pierce the Veil frontman Vic Fuentes said in a statement. “We are honored to be hitting the stage every night with legends Sum 41, old friends Emarosa, and new friends Chapel. This will be a show unlike any we’ve ever attempted to dream up for our fans. Clock is ticking, we’ll see you all soon!”

All Time Low to Go on Spring North American Headlining Tour

Alternative Press revealed earlier this month that All time Low would be the cover band on January’s issue of the monthly magazine.

In the interview with the band, it was revealed that they will heading out on a massive tour next year with Issues, Tonight Alive, and State Champs.

The article states, “Stateside, they’re also set to play their biggest headlining shows ever this year, starting with a spring tour featuring support from Issues, Tonight Alive, and State Champs.”

The spring tour is just the tip of the iceberg for the Baltimore-based band who revealed last month that they were currently in the studio recording new music with a projected release date of March 2015.

But if that wasn’t enough, they had announced in August they would be headlining several gigs in the United Kingdom with support from You Me At Six, including a show at London’s Wembley Arena which sold out in no time at all. Wembley Arena has a concert capacity of 12,500, so for that venue to sell out without the band releasing new material in years is quite a feat.

The achievement will be chronicle on video; the band had also revealed that the show will be recorded for their new live DVD titled, A Night in London with All Time Low.

No official tour dates have been released yet, but we can assume they will be coming pretty soon.

Modest Mouse Announce Upcoming Spring Tour

modestmouse

After announcing that they would be headlining this years Boston Calling with the likes of Brand New and Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse have announced that they will be heading out on their own headlining tour.

It’s been seven years since the band last released their last record, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, and now it looks like the band are finally going to be putting out new material. Signs of new material have been popping up all over the internet for quite sometime including a new track titled, “Be Brave” that was performed at last year’s Coachella.

This comes as great news for fans of the Washington state-based band considering that last year they cancelled their European tour to finish up the last remaining bits of the new album. Since a short, United States tour is currently on the map, it looks like the new album might be coming sometime in 2014, but when exactly remains to be seen.
