UPDATE: Hold the phone, it looks like a Day of the Doctor trailer might have leaked. One of the many Doctor Who fansites, Doctor Who TV, has gotten word from many fans that the newly leaked trailer has similar scenes from the trailer that was given at Comic Con this Summer, but not the exact same.

Like it has probably been stated once before, be careful…SPOILERS!


Are you ready to overdose on Doctor Who?

BBC America has officially revealed a Doctor Who jammed schedule for the upcoming week before the 50th anniversary special is slated to premiere.

The special which, if you didn’t know, is titled “The Day of the Doctor” is scheduled to premiere on BBC One in England on November 23 at 8 PM. It was previously confirmed that there would be a simulcast of the show in 37 countries so that everyone, in every time zone could experience it at the same time. Let’s be honest, it’s also so that no spoilers will get out and damage the surprise. For those that will be watching the series from the comfort of their home or at any of the movie theater simulcast in the United States, the special will air at 2:50 PM.

The week-long event will begin on November 18 with daily marathons paying tribute to the actors who took on the iconic role of the Doctor. Aside from the marathons, there would be several specials including The Science of Doctor Who with Brian Cox, Doctor Who: Tales from the TARDIS and Doctor Who Explained. The yearlong The Doctors Revisited special will also come to a close with their retrospective account of current Doctor, Matt Smith.

Also bringing more Doctor Who things to the table, BBC America will also be premiering, An Adventure in Space and Time, the story of how the series came to be starring David Bradley as the First Doctor, William Hartnell as well as Jessica Raine, Sacha Dhawan and Brian Cox.

So let the countdown begin (14 days for those of you out there interested).
