Ice Nine Kills to headline the ‘Hell in the Hallways’ tour

Ice Nine Kills may be wrapping up their final days on the 2016 Vans Warped Tour, but don’t expect the group to take a massive break right after. On Wednesday (Aug. 3), the Massachusetts-based band unveiled plans to head out on the “Hell in the Hallways” tour. The fall tour, named after their latest single, will be sponsored by Alternative Press and will feature performances by Secrets, Sylar, Cover Your Tracks, and Out Came The Wolves.

“Following up our run on Warped Tour with a US headlining tour is exactly what the INK fans need,” explains vocalist Spencer Charnas. “With the theme of this tour directly relating to our last Carrie-inspired music video, this will be more than just a show, it will be an experience.”

“We’re really excited to be presenting the ‘Hell in the Hallways’ tour with this roster of great bands,” begins Alternative Press CEO and founder Mike Shea. “This is going to be a pretty crazy tour! We’ve seen Ice Nice Kills just blow up this summer on Warped and these shows are going to be hot, packed and loud!”

The across-country tour will kick off on Sept. 9 at Lost Horizon in Syracuse, NY and will wrap up a little over a month later on Oct. 16 at Champs in Lemoyne, PA. VIP tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning Friday, Aug. 5 while general admission tickets will go on sale Monday, Aug. 8. The Devil Wears Prada Officially Rejoin Rise Records

image

It’s official, The Devil Wears Prada have rejoined Rise Records.

Last week, the record label (as well as the band) had released a cryptic video that gave no information at all, just the band and label’s logos side by side after some video from space.

Quickly after the video was released, publications and fans alike began to claim that the band had returned to their roots for their new record.

Today, the rumors were confirmed with The Devil Wears Prada frontman, Mike Hranica, releasing a statement on the matter.

“We’re all very confident in working with Rise again,” begins Hrancia.

“The label has grown tremendously since our first release back in 2006, nonetheless we know their intention is still the same as ever and we know it’s a model that will compliment us well. We’re persistently hands-on and love to do exactly as we please, and they’re a great place for us to be able to continue that path while supporting our visions. Rise can be commended, deservedly, for their wholehearted drive at releasing albums they believe in; and it’s that enthusiasm that is both welcoming and exciting for our band moving forward.”

As for the video that was release online last week that started the talks of a reconcile? Turns out, the band are working on a conceptual album titled what else, Space which is set to be released sometime in the Summer. No official release date has been given.

If the reunion with Rise and the announcement of a new album wasn’t enough, the Ohio band just kicked off a double leg, headlining this past Sunday (March 15). Full dates, including the recently added second leg, for that can be seen below.

In a message fans, TDWP frontman Mike Hrancia wrote:

“When we started discussing the idea of playing the Zombie EP front to back, it was clear and evident that the five-year anniversary would be the perfect time to commemorate.
