Coachella Headliners Get Demoted

If you are planning on heading to Coachella to see the Stone Roses headline tonight’s show, then you might want to take a step back and check out what time the band will be playing on the smaller stage.

Speculations started arising that the reason that they had been “demoted” was because of the poor turn out they had gotten during their reunion set on the main stage last week. A spokesperson for the band told NME that this switch was supposed to happen from the beginning and that there was nothing else behind it.

Blur and The Stones Roses are both credited as being co-headliners on the posters, so maybe it was the plan all a long and people are just blowing things out of proportions.

This isn’t the first time that this craze of artists swapping times has occurred  This past year at Ultra Music Festival, it was revealed that many of the artists performing had done the same thing as well.

The Stone Roses will now perform at 9:55 p.m., with Blur closing out the main stage at 11:35 p.m.
