Ever wanted to know what it would sound like when someone covers classic ringtone?
Well, even if you never did, Jimmy Fallon managed to get Sting to cover classic ringtones in his own personal way (Stingtones) during the signer’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night.
As if the Stingtones weren’t enough, he went on to record a personal outgoing message for an audience member, all to the tune of “Message in a Bottle.” We know there’s pun in there, but we’ll leave it up to you.
Check out the video below.
Maybe Sting should get a side job as a ringtone creator; we’re sure he’ll be really good at it.
Last week, Sting had been named as one of 15 nominees for up for a chance to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This will be Sting’s first time up for a nomination by himself; he was previously inducted to the Hall of Fame as part of The Police.
