New Found Glory are Horrible Tattoo Artists in “Vicious Love”

image

With just a few hours until they are scheduled to take the stage at the Alternative Press Music Awards, New Found Glory has debuted the music video for their latest single, and our personal favorite track from Resurrection, “Vicious Love.”

The video features all the members of New Found Glory decked out in the worst fake beards and mustaches around. What’s even worse is that they’re tattoo artists who are horrible at what they do. From tattooing the wrong names on people to crossing out a tattoo a client wanted covered up with an orange marker, you can tell that the guys aren’t exactly good at their job. As a word of caution, just wait until you get to the tattoo that they “did” featuring Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and a lightsaber.

Check out the music video for “Vicious Love” below, but be warned, the song itself is not the original that was featured on their eighth studio album. This version of “Vicious Love” features Hayley Williams and will be featured on the upcoming re-issue of the 2014 release.

New Found Glory will be releasing Resurrection: Ascension on Oct. 9 through Hopeless Records. The re-issue will also feature two unheard tracks as well as the video’s version of “Vicious Love.”

The album will fittingly be released around the same time that their co-headlining tour with Yellowcard is slated to begin. Full tour dates  for that can be seen here.

Watch New Found Glory Get Beaten and Bloodied in New Video

After weeks of teasing images from the set of their music video, New Found Glory have released the blood soaked and kind of violent clip for “One More Round.”

Check out the video below.

“One More Round” is featured on the band’s recent album, Resurrection which was released back in October through Hopeless Records.

The Florida-based band also announced plans to hit the road once more in support of the record. Last year, when Resurrection was released they headed out on the “Resurrection Tour” and now they will be heading out on the “Sleep When I Die” Tour (a lyric directly from one of the songs on the album, “Selfless”) with Turnstile, This Wild Life, and Turnover.

Full tour dates for that can be seen here.

New Found Glory Stream Christmas Song

image

It’s starting to sound a lot like Christmas, like we didn’t already know by the way the radio stations and television channels have begun their month-long torture, we mean countdown, until the jolly holly holiday.

Last week The Killers gave us their yearly Christmas song about a piece of coal named Joel and today, New Found Glory have given us their own song for the holiday, The track is titled “Snow” and is currently being streamed over at Spotify, but for all you nice and naughty people put there, you listen to the track below.

New Found Glory are currently on the European leg of their tour in support of their eighth studio album/recently released record, Resurrection. The album was released back in October through Hopeless Records.

New Found Glory Reveal Their “Stubborn” Side

Happy Friday everyone and you know what’s better than Friday almost being over? New music while Friday is almost over.

It felt like it was just yesterday that New Found Glory released another song from their upcoming new album, but wait, it was yesterday.

Not being able to hold on to the new music, the band revealed on Twitter that they had dropped another new song premiering it on several music news sites including Buzznet, Under the Gun Review, Alternative Press, PureVolume, Absolute Punk, and Property of Zack.

Of course, we don’t like to be outdone by our music site idols, so we got our hands on the new track which funnily enough is titled “Stubborn,” kind of what we are here.

Listen to the new track below which features Bayside’s Anthony Raneri.

“Stubborn” joins previously released tracks, “Selfless,” “Ready and Willing,” and yesterday’s premiere, “Stories of a Different Kind” on their new record. Resurrection is set to be released on Oct. 7 through Hopeless Records.

The album comes out a few days after New Found Glory hits the tour circuit as the headliners on this year’s Glamour Kills Tour. The tour begins on Oct. 3 in San Diego with We Are the In Crowd, Fireworks while Candy Heart, Red City Radio, and Better Off will play selected dates.

New Found Glory Tell “Stories of a Different Kind”

While a former New Found Glory member is currently in the middle of his legal issues, like we had reported earlier, the band are still marching forward.

After teasing fans on Twitter, Hopeless Records finally released another new track from their upcoming album, Resurrection.

The song is titled “Stories of a Different Kind” and is the third song to be released from the Florida-based band’s ninth studio album after lead single “Selfless” and “Ready and Willing.”

When asked about the inspiration behind the song, lead guitarist Chad Gilbert said, “‘Stories’ is a song that tells a band lesson. Success, the way most people see it, money, fame, being in the public eye, comes and goes with time and we all end up in the same place. Still in the real world with a bunch of memories. So spend more time enjoying the fun part of your career and make good memories instead of trying to stay on top”

“We’ve been doing this since ’97. Seeing bands come and go, and attitudes change, and people from all sorts of areas of life…it’s just kind of one of those things we’re always talking about and thinking about,” chimed in frontman Jordan Pundik.

Listen to “Stories of a Different Kind” here.

wpid-new-found-glory-2014-promo-by-lindsey-byrnes-1024x681.jpeg

The resurrection for New Found Glory is officially underway now. With the release of lead single “Selfless” and most recently, the goofy boy band parody music video for “Ready and Willing” as well as news that they will be headlining this year’s Glamour Kills Tour, fans of NFG are going to have an overdose of them.

Yesterday, the group revealed that during the Glamour Kills tour, they will be doing some in-store shows across the country. Sadly, not every single tour date is going to have an in-store counterpart, but for those lucky locations, we’d advise lining up a couple of hours ahead of times.

Just a warning.

New Found Glory are “Ready and Willing”

image

New Found Glory’s “resurrection” continues.

After years of off time, Florida-based New Found Glory revealed plans to release a new album, fittingly titled Resurrection as well as their headlining gig on this years Glamour Kills Tour.

Yesterday, the band teased fans with a picture of “younger” version of the band members. Of course, the picture laid the basis for the music video for the newest single “Ready and Willing” which feature the younger version of NFG getting into different antics.

If the video looks oddly similar to some of pop radios’ favorite “boy bands,” then you might be right about that. The video looks like the plot line was meant to be a goofy parody of those groups’ videos.

Also, keep an eye out and you can see the real members of NFG playing bodyguards to the younger version in part of the clip when the crazy fangirls try to attack them.

Check out the video below.

“Ready and Willing” will be featured on the band’s upcoming new album, Resurrection, alongside lead single “Selfless.” The new record is due to be released on Oct. 7 through Hopeless Records.

If you’re digging the new tracks and want to see NFG live, check out the full tour dates for the Glamour Kills Tour below.

New Found Glory to Headline Glamour Kills Tour

nfg

Yesterday was all about Yellowcard and today is all about New Found Glory.

Earlier in the day, we reported how a new New Found Glory track found its way onto the internet. The band had not acknowledged the track, which is titled “Selfless,” but now we have gotten confirmation that the song floating around is theirs and just released the official music video for it.

Aside from the news of the new song and the title of their new album, Resurrection, the band have revealed they will be headlining this year’s Glamour Kills Tour alongside Fireworks, We Are the In Crowd, Red city Radio, Better Off, and Candy Hearts.

Tickets for the tour are currently up for sale on Glamour Kills’ website. For those wanting to purchase tickets, there are bundles that are currently being offered and might be kind of cool to look into.

For $40 fans can get the “Resurrection Bundle” which includes general admission to the show as well as NFG’s Resurrection on CD and Digital Download on the day it comes out.

For $75 fans can get the “Premium Resurrection Bundle” which includes general admission, Resurrection, a signed album lithography and an exclusive tee.

The final bundle to be offered for the tour is the “VIP Resurrection Experience” which includes an exclusive soundcheck performance, meet and greet, photo opp, general admission, Resurrection in three different forms (CD, LP and Digital Download), a signed album lithography, exclusive tee and commemorative VIP laminate. All that will push you back $100.

The Glamour Kills Tour will begin its trek across the United States on October 3 in San Diego at the House of Blues and will wrap up on November 8 in Santa Cruz at the Catalyst (very fitting).

New Found Glory Are Ready For a ‘Resurrection’

nfg

UPDATE: Well, that didn’t take very long. Check out the official music video for New Found Glory’s new track Selfless from their upcoming new album, Resurrection.

Yesterday afternoon a song made its way onto the internet and was being passed around with the claims that it was a new song from New Found Glory titled, “Selfless.”

The band have yet to reply to the new song, as it’s been almost five days since they have updated anything on their Twitter account, but like Yellowcard, iTunes has beaten them to the punch. The record will be titled Resurrection.

Resurrection is currently up for pre-orders on the U.K.’s iTunes with a release date of October 6, while the release date will be October 7 here in the United States.

The full track list can also be seen below.

RESURRECTION TRACKLIST:

1) Selfless
2) Resurrection
3) The Worst Person
4) Ready and Willing
5) One More Round
6) Vicious Love
7) Persistent
8) Stories of a Different Kind
9) Degenerate
10) Angel
11) Stubborn
12) Living Hell
13) On My Own

Back in May, the band revealed that their new album would be released through Hopeless Records and not Epitaph Records. It was later confirmed they had left the latter for Hopeless. No word yet on whether the band will be heading out on tour yet in support of the album. Considering that their last tour was being part of the Vans Warped Tour in 2012 and their stint on the Parahoy! cruise, we can only assume that a tour will be coming our way soon from the Florida band.

This will be the first album that the band will release since all the bad publicity surrounding former guitarist Steve Klein being charged with multiple counts of lewd contact with a minor. Someone on a message board asked what are the chances that Klein’s legal troubles will come through in a song? Another person pointed out there’s a song titled, “The Worst Person,” so we’re going to say it’s very likely.

The Return of Taste of Chaos?

TheUsedGroupShot

Could it be true that the Taste of Chaos travelling show will be resurrected from the dead?

All signs are pointing that there might be a resurrection of the short-lived tour. Back in September, Kill the Music had claimed that Taking Back Sunday and The Used would be heading out on some kind of a tour. Flash forward to the end of October and it looks like the rumors might be true.

Now, Main Stage Productions, a website that informs talent buyers and college clubs hoping to host events about available tours, has updated their list to include a Taking Back Sunday/The Used package which says that they would be available to perform between March 15 to April 27.

While nowhere does it say that this listing is anyway related to the tour, coincidentally, the days listed on the site do happen to fall within the time frame that Taste of Chaos would typically occur.

Back in July, rumors started when The Used’s frontman, Bert McCracken  mentioned “I heard a big rumor that The Used is putting back together the Taste Of Chaos for springtime. Does that sound like a good time?”

Check out McCracken’s tease at the end of the video below.

Taste of Chaos began in 2005 with The Used and My Chemical Romance headlining, but in 2010, the tour ended its run with Disturbed on the bill.
