Stream My Chemical Romance Remixes

My Chemical Romance might have called it a day a year ago,but some people are trying to keep the band’s memory still alive.

Last week, the band’s record label, Warner Brothers, released their greatest hits, May Death Never Stop You which included a compilation of some of their biggest hits as well as some versions of tracks that previously were not available. A never-before-heard song which doubled as the band’s eulogy was also released.

In a recent interview with British music publication, Kerrang!, former bassist Mikey Way compared the ending of the band with “the passing of a family member”.

Today, a full playlist of songs remixed by a DJ named Dr. Brixx has surfaced online which features several of My Chemical Romance’s songs being mixed with tracks from other musicians such as the naked and Famous, 30 Seconds to Mars, B.O.B and Lily Allen.

The full playlist can be heard below as well as the full stream of May Death Never Stop. And for those that are still reeling from the break up new even though it was announced a year ago, their breakout album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge actually turns ten this June. Finger crossed.

Matt and Kim Stream ‘Lightning Remixes’

Matt and Kim made headlines a few weeks back when they released the album work for their remixed album, Lightning Remixes which showed the duo portraying Adam and Eve with drummer Kim Schifino completely topless (which can be seen above, if you didn’t already notice).

If you’ve ever seen her perform live then you know that it’s nothing, but like most things, some people blew it out of proportion and took offense to it.

Schifino’s response? To simply apologize to her family via Instagram.

“To my family…I am sorry but my boobs are on the Internet today. Good news is they are the same size as when david and I or even heather and I took baths together so it shouldn’t be that weird! Xo,” she wrote.

Now that’s badass.

Today, the full album has been posted on Soundcloud where all ten remixed tracks ca be heard. Lightning Remixes is set to be released on October 1 through FADER.
