Emarosa are ‘Ready to Love’ on their latest standalone single

Emarosa is back to tell you they’re ready for love.

On Monday (Nov. 18), the Kentucky-founded band unleashed a brand new song, the first since the February release of their current album, Peach Club.

During a quick sit-down with Billboard, frontman Bradley Walden unveiled the inspiration behind the new track, and let’s just say, it’s very mature.

“‘Ready to Love’ is that bite that’s too hot. You know it’ll hurt, you know it’s not ready, but it takes that pain to learn your lesson,” the vocalist tells the publication.

“The older you get, the more self-aware you become about what you want for yourself and what you want in a partner. A lot of time can be wasted being with people out of loneliness. This song is a reflection of moving past that and knowing what you want, knowing your worth, and knowing what you are/are not ready for.”

“Ready to Love” is the group’s first new track since the release of their fifth studio album, Peach Club. The studio effort not only marked their first release through their new home of Hopeless Records, but it also found the band shifting from their old screamy sound to new, 80s-inspired music.

Since its early 2019 release, Peach Club has produced several singles, including “Givin’ Up,” “Cautious,” “Don’t Cry,” and Walden’s tribute to his mother, “Get Back Up.”

In support of the album, Emarosa announced plans to embark on one last tour before the year ends. The new Peach Club tour dates include shows in Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, and more.

The 18-stop jaunt begins on Nov. 29 at Holy Drive in Sacramento and concludes in mid-December with a two-night engagement (Dec. 21 and 22) at the Moroccan in Los Angeles. At the time of publication, 15 out of the 18 shows have been classified as sold out.

“We’re performing Peach Club front to back,” Walden said in a press statement in July. “We’ve never done anything like this. It’ll be special.”
