It’s only been a week since Rancid revealed that they would be releasing a new album, and already the punk band have released three tracks from it.

Yesterday, they once again felt in a giving mood and released another track from Honor Is All We Know, a song titled “Face Up.”

Like many Rancid songs, it’s hard, pulsating, and just want we need to get us through the day.

Check out the song below.

Honor Is All We Know was produced by Bad Religion’s Brett Gurewitz and recorded at Los Angeles’ Red Star Studios and The Boat which, cool fact of the day, is owned by Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

In April, Rancid drummer Branden Steineckert revealed that the band’s new album would be released sometime in 2014. With the year quickly coming to a close, we have to wonder if it will have a 2014 release date.

We never know, they might go ahead and release it when no one was looking.

Honor Is All We Know is the band’s first album in five years; Let the Dominoes Fall was released back in 2009.

Rancid Give Fans a Taste of ‘Honor’

Rancid’s surprise announcement on Sunday about them releasing a new album, made fans of the punk icons excited.

But how exactly do you get a group of hardcore fans even more excited for the brand new album? Easy, released three of the new tracks from the upcoming record.

Rancid did just that with the release of “Collision Course,” “Honor is All We Know,” and “Evil’s My Friend” all in one video.

The band’s eighth studio album, Honor is All We Know was produced by Bad Religion’s Brett Gurewitz and recorded at Los Angeles’ Red Star Studios and The Boat.

In a recently posted press release, the band said about the new record, “Honor Is All We Know is unique in that it is filled with growing insight of a band who has been doing this for a while now: It feels natural and organic, written without an agenda or bone to pick, rather the culmination of lives lived largely with a keen interest in the world and a sense of brotherhood.”

Honor is all We Know comes five years after their last album, 2009’s Let the Dominoes Fall.

No official release date for the album has been unveiled even though drummer Branden Steineckert said it would be released in 2014. Three months left in 2014, guys.

Check out the three new tracks above.

Today, the punk band took to their Facebook to release the album art and track list for their new album. The record, which will be the California band’s eighth album will be named Honor Is All We Know. For fans of the band, the title should not be a shock because during a 2013 Reddit interview, drummer Branden Steineckert revealed the title and that a 2014 release date was in the cards.

As of now, the only thing that has been confirmed is the album name, track list, artwork and that it was produced by Bad Religions’s Brett Gurewitz at The Boat + Red Star in Los Angeles and will be released through Hellcat Records/Epitaph Records.
