It’s been over a month since Blink-182 hit the ground running when they release the first single off of their upcoming seventh studio album. After releasing “Bored to Death,” announcing a massive summer tour, and giving fans a free download of “Built this Pool,” you would think the pop-punk pioneers would relax a little bit? Over the weekend, the band had teased that they would be debuting a brand new song this week and as promised, they pulled through.
On Wednesday (June 8), Blink-182, or rather drummer Travis Barker, headed over to Zane Lowe’s Apple Music radio show. On the show, the sticksman premiered the group’s latest single, “Rabbit Hole.” The full version of the barely two-and-a-half minute song can be streamed below.
“Rabbit Hole” will join “Built this Pool” and lead single “Bored to Death” on Blink-182’s upcoming new album, California. California is set to be released on July 1 through BMG. In support of the new record, Blink-182 will head out on a massive summer tour.
The summer tour will not only feature the California pop-punkers, but also the All-American Rejects, All Time Low, A Day to Remember, and DJ Spider. The daily lineup varies from tour stop to tour stop, so it might be wise to check the tour dates to ensure that your favorite acts will ht the stage that night. The complete list of tour dates can be seen here.
California is the follow-up to Blink-182’s 2011 release, Neighborhoods.
