Ghost announces a hauntingly good tour itinerary for the fall

Ghost has quickly become one of those bands that don’t like to sit still for long periods. On Monday (April 1), the Swedish band proved this point by announcing another massive North American tour. Dubbed the “Ultimate Tour Named Death,” the excursion will find the act performing at venues across the continent throughout September and October.

The six-week outing includes stops in major markets such as Seattle, Vancouver, Boise, Colorado Springs, Minneapolis, Grand Rapids, Hershey, Trenton, and more. The tour begins on Sept. 13 at the Rabobank Theatre in Bakersfield, California and concludes on Oct. 26 at the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls, New York. More tour stops will reportedly be announced at a later time.

San Antonio’s Nothing More will open for Ghost throughout the full excursion except for the Sept. 28 stop of the tour at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

The “Ultimate Tour Named Death” tour begins shortly after Ghost concludes their time on Metallica’s “WorldWired” European stadium tour this summer.

A series of pre-sales begin this Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales begin this Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. local time.

The upcoming tour is in support of Ghost’s Grammy-nominated album Prequelle. The record, the group’s fourth studio effort, was released in June 2018 and earned the act two Grammy nominations; Best Rock Album” for Prequelle and Best Rock Song for “Rats.”
