Madden Brothers Postpone Upcoming Tour

Anyone looking forward to the Madden Brothers hitting the road later this month have sadly been given bad news about it; the tour has been postponed.

Writing to fans on their social media accounts, the brothers revealed that their plans on hitting the road to promote their album, Greetings From California had been postponed until 2015.

In the statement, they explain that, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will need to postpone the US tour dates until 2015. We appreciate all your support this year and hope to see all of you in the new year! All refunds can be made at the point of purchase. #vibes”

The Madden Brothers, which like their act’s name states is a new project from Benji and Joel Madden formerly of Good Charlotte. The brothers released Greetings From California back in September and this US tour would be their first time heading out on a nationwide tour for it. Front Porch Step and Keta were suppose to, or probably still will be, supporting them.

Nov 18, 2014 – San Francisco, CA
Nov 20, 2014 – Philadelphia, PA
Nov 21, 2014 – Boston, MA

Silverstein Cancel All Postponed Tour Dates

Yesterday, we might have gotten a little bit excited to announced that Silverstein would be continuing with their Canadian tour amid the news that guitarist, Paul Marc Rousseau had to undergo emergency abdominal surgery. The band, until then, had cancelled all dates waiting for Rousseau to get better so they could pick up where they left off on their trek. They went so far as to announce that tour dates for next week were still on.

But a lot can change in 12 hours and it looks like those hoping for Silverstein to keep their word about coming back for a make up show for the ones that were cancelled have been left out in the cold. The band announced earlier today on their Facebook that they would have to cancel the rescheduled stops.

A full statement from the band can be read below:

Big Boi to Postpone Tour Due to Injury

If anyone was excited to be checking out one-half of OutKast this Spring, it looks like that just might be out of the plan.

It was reported today that Big Boi would have to reschedule the rest of his recent tour following an injury that the rapper sustained. The current tour which was a continuation of last year’s ‘Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors’ tour, has been scrapped for now at least that’s what supporting act, Killer Mike posted on his Twitter page.

“Guys Big Boi hurt his knee.  Surgery today n 6weeks rest. Shows will be moved to Sept. I’m told.  Dre3ks Mom passed n Its best we all home,” writes the rapper on the social media site.

The last part of the tweet is referring to this morning’s breaking news that fellow OutKast member, Andre 3000’s mother had passed away earlier this week.

Filling fans in via Instagram, Big Boi posted picture of himself as well as the following message: “God Bless Atlanta Sports medicine for a successful Knee Surgery fixed my torn Patella #Jesus #backoutcheain6weeks.”

While the rapper relaxes and recharges, Killer Mike will be heading back on the touring circuit this Summer.

So far, no more information had been given as to when the rest of the tour will be rescheduled for or if it will be postponed indefinitely.
