The weather outside is borderline frightful, but Hangout Fest is ready to make it delightful. On Tuesday (Dec. 3), the Alabama-based music festival unleashed the lineup for the 2020 incarnation of the annual event.
Headlining next year’s roster are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cage the Elephant, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Marshmello, and more.
Joining the acts above on the bill are Juice WRLD, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Louis the Child, The Head and the Heart, Moon Taxi, T-Pain, The Band Camino, Wallows, RL Grime, Jhené Aiko, (not surprisingly) Finneas, Alec Benjamin, Bea Miller, Barns Courtney, and more.
Talk about an eclectic and genre-diverse list. At the time of publication, over 60 artists have been confirmed to take the stage at the three-day event.
Hangout Fest 2020 returns to its home of Gulf Shores, Alabama, during the weekend of May 15-17. Pre-sale passes go on sale this Friday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. CT. General ticket sales begin next Monday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. CT. Ticket information can be found here.
Three types of tickets will be available come sale time; general admission, VIP, and for those feeling some serious YOLO vibes for 2020, the Super VIP.
If you feel like next year is all about going big or going home, there are always the Big Kahuna or Cabana options.
Cardi B is here to remind everyone that’s she’s here to “make money move,” and her 21 Billboard Music Awards nominations are proof of that.
On Thursday (April 4), Billboard unveiled the full list of nominees for this year’s Billboard Music Awards. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper leads the pack with a total of 21 nominations in several main categories like “Top Artist,” “Top Hot 100 Artist,” “Top Streaming Artist,” “Top Billboard 200 Album,” and more.
The “I Like It” rapper’s number of nominations this year puts her just shy of meeting the record-breaking amount of nominations —22— which was set by Drake and the Chainsmokers in 2017.
Following Cardi B with the most nominations are Drake and Post Malone. Both artists received a total of 17 nominations apiece. The rappers will go head-to-head in several categories including “Top Rap Artist,” “Top Billboard 200 Album,” “Top Rap Song,” and “Top Rap Male Artist.”
Behind Drake and Post Malone is Travis Scott with a total of 12 nominations. Scott will compete in many of the same categories as Cardi B, Drake, and Post Malone.
If you’re looking for who’s representing the rock and alternative genres at the Billboard Music Awards, you don’t need to look very far; there aren’t many rock bands on the list. Maroon 5 leads the “rock” genre with a total of seven nominations while Imagine Dragons come in with a total of six (double nomination in the “Top Rock Song” category).
Panic! at the Disco comes in with four nominations while Twenty One Pilots and lovelytheband are tied with two apiece.
This year, the Billboard Music Awards will feature two fan-voted categories; “Top Social Artist” and “Chart Achievement.”
The 2019 Billboard Music Awards will take place at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 1. The show will air live on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. Kelly Clarkson will host the event. Clarkson, with the help of country duo Dan + Shay, announced the full list of nominees on the “Today” show earlier in the day.
The full list of categories and their nominees can be found below.

Phish, Childish Gambino, Post Malone, and the Lumineers are just a handful of artists who will make their way to Tennessee in mid-June for Bonnaroo 2019. On Tuesday (Jan. 8), festival organizers unveiled the musically diverse lineup for the 2019 incarnation of the annual music-centric event.
Joining the aforementioned acts on this year’s bill are Hozier, Solange, Cardi B, the National, Kasey Musgraves, the Lonely Island, Mac DeMarco, Gucci Mane, John Prine, Beach House, Jim James, BROCKHAMPTON, Girl Talk, Deafheaven, Juice WRLD, Parquet Courts, Courtney Barnett, the Avett Brothers, and many more.
According to Bonnaroo’s website, the festival will host over 150 performers on over ten stages during the event.
This year will mark a special one for Phish as the band will play a total of three sets during the four-day festival. The band is scheduled to perform one set on Friday night (June 14) and two sets on Sunday (June 16). Phish made their Bonnaroo debut in 2009 where they shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen for three songs. They returned to the Bonnaroo stage in 2012 where they teamed up with Kenny Rogers for “The Gambler.”
The official lineup also boosts the return of the Grand Ole Opry with special guests. Those special guest will be revealed at a later date.
Tickets for the four-day music festival go on sale beginning this Thursday, Jan. 10, at noon ET. As like many other music festivals, Bonnaroo is offering a layaway plan for those who may be feeling the effects of the holiday season.
For more information about the music festival, tickets, or the lineup, head on over to Bonnaroo’s website here.
Bonnaroo 2019 will return to its home of Manchester, Tennessee during the weekend of June 13-16. The full lineup can be found below.
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards nominees have been unveiled and it looks like Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran are leading the pack with the most nominations this year. On Tuesday (April 17), the official list of nominees for this year’s event was announced, revealing that Lamar and Sheeran are tied with a total of 15 nominations apiece. Both Grammy winners’ nominations include Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Hot 100 Song, and Top Selling Album.
Coming in second with a total of 14 nominations is Bruno Mars. Mars, who is also a recent Grammy winner, is nominated for Top Radio Songs Artist, Top R&B Artist, and Top R&B Song which features two of his current hits (“That’s What I Like” and “Finesse” with Cardi B).
Right behind Mars is Post Malone with a total of 12 nominations. The “Rockstar” rapper’s nominations include Top Collaboration with 21 Savage for “Rockstar,” Top Streaming Songs Artist, and Top Streaming Song (Audio) which features two of his songs (“Rockstar” and “Congratulations”).
Injecting the awards show with a little bit of rock are the guys from Imagine Dragons who garnered a total of 10 nominations this year. The Las Vegas guys’ nominations include Top Radio Song, Top Duo/Group, and Top Selling Song which include two of their Evolve singles; “Believer” and “Thunder.”
Tied with a total of eight nominations apiece are Cardi B and Justin Bieber. The Bronx-based rapper’s nominations include Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Streaming Song (Video) for “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” and Top New Artist.
As for Bieber, most of his nominations come in the form of song contributions (Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despactio” and DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One”). The only non-contribtuion nomination the pop star received this year is in the Top Social Artist category.
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will take place on May 20, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The complete event will air live on NBC beginning at 8 p.m. EST. Tickets for the awards show went on sale last week and can currently be purchase here.
