Watch: Woody and Buzz return in first ‘Toy Story 4’ teaser

If you were having a good morning, then Disney and Pixar have come to change that. On Monday (Nov. 12), the media giants unleashed the first teaser trailer for their “Toy Story” sequel, “Toy Story 4.” Eight years after crying our eyes out as Woody said good-bye to Andy in “Toy Story 3,” the House of Mouse and its partner-in-animation-crime have released the one-and-a-half-minute clip for the forthcoming film.

The teaser includes the return of some of our favorite characters like Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead, Rex, Hamm, Slinky Dog, and yes, even the little green aliens. The video finds the group of toys in what looks to be some kind of a dreamy state as they’re holding hands in a peace circle. Each character has a brief moment in front of the camera before it moves along to the next toy.

After announcing that the film will see a summer release date via Slinky Dog’s body, we are introduced to a brand new character named Forky. As if becoming suddenly self-aware, Forky lets go of the circle while screaming “I don’t belong here! I’m not a toy!” Cue the insanity.

In addition to the trailer, the official synopsis for the upcoming movie was released.  The synopsis reads: “Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But, when Bonnie add a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”

“Toy Story 4” is due June 21, 2019.

Watch the ‘Finding Dory’ Trailer

“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming…”

Yes, that is the sound of the first trailer for Finding Dory hitting the web early Tuesday morning (Nov. 10). The trailer gives us an update on everyone’s favorite forgetful blue fish, who apparently is living with Nemo and his dad Marlin. The short clip features Dory sleep swimming and eventually remembering where her family is. Quite a feat for a fish can can barely remember her own name.

We still aren’t 100% sure what the plot for the film is, but with what we were given with the trailer, it might be similar to the plot for Finding Nemo, except we have a forget fish trying to find her family. Watch the trailer for Finding Dory below.

Finding Dory is set to hit theaters on June 17, 2016.

‘Finding Nemo’ Sequel to be Released in 2015

Let our childhood continue!

This year alone we are already expecting the prequel to the company’s big hit and childhood favorite, Monsters Inc., and now the company has announced that they will be making a sequel to their other hit movie, Finding Nemo.

The news came through Dory herself, Ellen DeGeneres, when she hit Twitter to share the news with her adoring fans. She posted an Instagram picture with the caption reading, “It’s official.” She also shared the news with her audience, telling them, “I’m excited that it’s finally happening. I read the script and it’s fantastic, it’s hilarious, it’s warm, it’s everything that you want it to be.”

Beginning the brand new episode of her show, DeGeneres poked a little fun at the Pixar company by making references to all the other hit movies that have had sequels including Cars and Toy Story.

I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” the host with the most said. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”

The movie will reportedly take place a year or so after the original film and will also include the Tank Gang, Marlin and of course Nemo.

Finding Dory is set to be released on November 25, 2015.
