The Black Keys’ Drummer Calls Out Justin Bieber Again

It’s been a while since we heard anything from The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney and his “obsession” with Justin Bieber. Considering all the trouble the pop star has gotten himself into since the initial “hatefest” began, it’s surprising that Carney hasn’t said anything.

While being interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine recently, his silence on the matter went out the window when he was asked by reporter Patrick Doyle to chim on on Bieber. “Justin Bieber, like a fucking irresponsible asshole, sicced 40 million Twitter followers on me because I paid him a compliment he didn’t understand.”

For those that don’t remember, it all started when Bieber got upset because he was snubbed for a Grammy. When asked by a TMZ photographer about his opinion on the matter, Carney simply replied with “Grammys are for music, not for the money. He should be happy.”

Of course not understanding humor, Bieber sicced his Belieb-hoard on the drummer by tweeting, “The Black Keys drummer should be slapped around haha.”

During his interview with Doyle, Carney was asked in what sense was his statement a compliment. Carney responded with: “I’m saying that he should be grateful he has a career in music. And he shouldn’t be fucking telling his followers to slap me, and then also be doing anti-bullying bullshit. It’s so irresponsible.”

But that’s not even where it end. He continues to throw more shade at the always-in-troubled one by calling him an even bigger hypocrite referencing to all the times he has gotten in trouble and the next day went online to pledge his love to his fans for believing in him, even when he was being the worst possible person to look up to.

“If you’re a 34-year-old fucking loser like me, and you go on Justin Bieber’s Twitter account like a total pervert every time that he gets in trouble, you should look at his tweets the next day. It’s always like, ‘I love you guys so much, always believe, never stop believing.’ He’s feeding them the Kool-Aid more and more,” he says. “He pours it on heavy, though. It’s so manipulative! And whoever taught him that that was OK, whoever’s watching him and is like ‘that manipulation is acceptable,’ should be really ashamed of themselves.”

Patrick Carney vs. The Beliebers

We all know that  Beliebers are a vicious group of fanatics who worship the ground that Justin Bieber walks on. First they attacked Selena Gomez when she started dating the pop star then there was the cutting incident when they start to slit their wrists when Bieber was photographed smoking weed and then there was the Grammy snub.

It looks like the tweenaged  Beliebers have met their match in The Black Keys’ drummer, Patrick Carney. For those that missed  the news earlier this week, Carney was asked by a TMZ reporter what he had thought about Bieber being snubbed by the Grammys and not get a single nomination for this album. Carney responded the same way many adult and non- Beliebers would, he said “He’s rich, right? Grammys are for like music, not for money… and he’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.”

Bieber retaliated by saying that Carney needed to get slapped around and it turns out that his loyal and vicious followers thought the same. There have been a lot of death threats and even some instances of asking the sticksman if he was gay, but how did he take it? Turns out that all you really need to derail those obsessive tweens is to have a sense of humor.

Here are some of Carney’s hilarious responses to the Bieber fans, but to check them all out, you can head on over to his Twitter page; it’s actually quite comical to see misspelled and grammatically incorrect threats.

Justin Bieber Responds to Black Keys’ Diss

Patrick Carney v. Justin Bieber

The Grammys might be the only musical awards that could not be persuaded to give Justin Bieber a nomination but that didn’t stop Bieber, his mother and his loyal group of vicious fans from being upset. But there’s one person that we can count on not feeling sorry for Bieber and his “problem”, Patrick Carney, the drummer of now seven-time Grammy Award winners, The Black Keys. Carney was asked by TMZ what he had thought about Justin Bieber being snubbed by the Grammys. To this question Carney responded with: “He’s rich, right? Grammys are for like music, not for money… and he’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.”

Bieber responded to the rocker’s statement on Twitter with: “the black keys drummer should be slapped around hahaha”. You can see the tweet below.

For anyone who is not familiar with Carney, this is not the first time that he had spoken negative things about artists. Last year, Carney blasted Canadian rock band, Nickelback by saying in an interview: “Rock ‘n’ roll is dying because people became OK with Nickelback being the biggest band in the world.”
