John Mayer Streaming New Album on iTunes

John Mayer

Just when you thought that John Mayer had given enough information about his upcoming new album, Paradise Valley, fans and others alike now have the chance to listen to the new album in full through iTunes.

Following in suit like many other artists such as David Bowie and Justin Timberlake, Mayer has made his new album available on iTunes to listen in full. It all started earlier today when the track that Mayer and lady-love, Katy Perry worked on made its way onto the internet. Now, instead of just that song and the two others that have been released over the last few months, Mayer has gone ahead and released all the tracks.

The streaming started today, and will be accessible through iTunes until August 20 when the album officially hits stores. Fans who pre-ordered the album will instantly get receive a download of one of the songs featured on the album, “Wildfire.” The day before the release, Mayer will serenade the public on the “Live on Letterman” webcast concert on August 19.

Fans will get the chance to compete for tickets to the performance by using Mayer’s Tour App or through Citi’s Private Pass program. For everyone else, they can stream the show through CBS.

With a new album means a new tour which Mayer has been in the middle of, taking along American Idol’s Phillip Phillips for the 40-date US Tour ride.

For now, head on over to John Mayer’s page on iTunes and you will be able to start listening to Paradise Valley instantly or you can hit the play button below and hear the John Mayer-Katy Perry duet, “Who You Love.”

John Mayer Released Album Info

John Mayer

John Mayer has been a little hush about his new album, something that is new to the former over-sharing singer. In the last few month since the announcement that he would be releasing his first new album since his vocal hiatus, the singer has only released lead single, “Paper Doll” and the recently released, “Wildfire.”

Earlier in the day it was revealed that Mayer would have several guests on his new album including Frank Ocean. According to Rolling Stone magazine, Ocean will lend his voice for “Wildfire” even though the song’s lyric video had been released about a month ago.

Mayer in the past has shown that he is a fan of the singer, especially when he performed guitar on Ocean’s “White” which was featured on his hit album channelOrange. But that’s not where Mayer’s relationship with Ocean ends; Mayer was featured in the music video for “Pyramids” as well as performed alongside him on Saturday Night Live.

Also making an appearance on the album is Mayer’s lady-love and one of our favorite pop star, Katy Perry. The duo, who have been in an “on-again-off-again” relationship for a while will perform together on a country-tinged song titled, “Who You Love.” When interviewed during Milwaukee’s SummerFest, Mayer praises Perry for being patient with him during his vocal recovery and how he feels the most happy now than he has before in the past. Remember that Mayer does have a laundry list of prior high-profiled relationships.

Mayer’s new album, Paradise Valley is scheduled to be released on August 20 through Columbia Records.

John Mayer Releases New Track

Last week, word had been released that John Mayer would be once again releasing a new track, but this one would be called, “Dear Marie.”

Surprise to fans when it turned out that the song was not the one that had been announced, but rather another new track from the singer’s new album, Paradise Valley. Turns out, the new track is instead, “Wildfire.”

The song can currently be streamed below, but if you’re truly digging it, you can head on over to iTunes and buy it.

Paradise Valley is scheduled to be released on August 20, while no statement have been made as to why Mayer (or maybe his people?) decided last-minute to switch the song that would make its singles debut today.
