Lollapalooza Release Webcast Schedule

Lollapalooza is set to be taking place this upcoming weekend at Chicago’s Grant Park and now festival organizers have revealed the artists that will participated during the live webcast of the festival. 

For those not fortunate enough to score tickets to the annual event, live webcasts will take place during the weekend on Redbull. TV. 

The list of artists include: OutKast, the Arctic Monkeys, Fitz and the Tantrums, The Airbourne Toxic Event, Kings of Leon, Interpol, Cut Copy, Jenny Lewis, Childish Gambino, Cage the Elephant, Young the Giant and many more. 

Keep in mind , that some of the performances may coincide with each other, so you might want to start planning accordingly to make the most of your “lost” Lollapalooza weekend.

Austin City Limits 2014 Line-up Revealed

Outkast can now add another music festival to their schedule, The Austin City Limits Music Festival which is set to take place in October. 

The line-up for the yearly festival which will be celebrating its 13th was unveiled earlier today with headliners Outkast, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Beck and Calvin Harris.

Organizers also announced the diverse list of performers that will also be making up the bill such as Lana Del Rey, Foster The People, The Replacements, Major Lazer, The Avett Brothers, Spoon, The Head and the Heart, Belle & Sebastian, Lorde (only performing on weekend two), Zedd, CHVRCHES, Juanes, Iggy Azalea, Icona Pop, Paolo Nutini, Sam Smith, KONGOS, Temples, Ana Tijoux, Hozier, MØ, Zoé, Interpol, AFI, CHVRCHES and the Gaslight Anthem.

The 13th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival is set to take place at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas for two weekends; Oct. 3-5 for weekend one and Oct. 10-12 for weekend two. 

For those interested in going, three-passes go on sale beginning today at 10 a.m. central time on the festival’s official website.  

Watch Outkast’s Return Set at Coachella

Coachella is still going and if haven’t already tuned in sometime this weekend to see weekend one of the annual music festival, you might be missing out on some great performers including The Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, Foster the People, Muse, Beck, HAIM, The Replacements and many more. 

One of the most anticipated performances of the weekend took place on Friday; the return of Outkast. After being on hiatus for the past decade, the duo revealed that they would be performing at every single music festival known to mankind this Summer beginning with Coachella. Though there was nothing but mixed reactions about the performance, they did not skip on guests including Janelle Monae, Sleepy Brown and rapper Future. 

Andre 3000 did reveal that Prince was backstage, but sadly, the purple one did not join them on stage.

Coachella Unveils Weekend One Set Times

Are you one of the thousands of people who will be heading to Indio, CA this weekend for the first weekend of Coachella?

Well, if you are and even if you aren’t, festival organizers have revealed the full set times for each of the acts that will be taking the stage during the first weekend of the two weekend long events.

This year’s event which will feature Outkast, The Repalcements, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Lorde, Foster the People, The Arcade Fire, Calvin Harris and many more. Today, the event organizers also revealed that Julian Casablancas and the Pixies have been added to the large line-up.

As for what times the artists will be performing during the second weekend of the festival, according to the official Coachella Twitter, that information will be released sometime next week. For those unfortunate people who won’t be making it to the festivities, the show will be fully streamed on YouTube during the first weekend and through AXS TV during the second weekend.

Coachella 2014 To Be Broadcast on Cable and Online

Feeling sorry for yourself because you won’t be making it to Coachella this year?

Well, don’t fret because word has just gotten out that the festival will be broadcast. today, it was revealed that the two weekends of the festival will be broadcast for those unfortunate souls who did not have the opportunity to head to Indio, CA for the OutKast, Beck, Muse, Arcade Fire and many more headlining event.

According to the organizers, the first weekend of the event which will take place on April 11-13 will air on YouTube while the second weekend which will take place during April 18-20, will be broadcast through cable channel AXS TV. The feed will include full sets, behind-the-scenes footage and select performances. According to reports, AXS TV will have reportedly over 20 hours of material on their hands while YouTube will keep up all the footage and material for a few weeks after the festival ends.

If that wasn’t enough, it was also revealed that Jason Bentley, Music Director for Los Angeles radio station KCRW, will be hosting both weekends as well and interviewing and introducing the artists.

Coachella will once again be returning to its stomping ground of Empire Polo Club in Indio while tickets for the event have already been sold out. Tickets sold out in a reported three hours.

Governors Ball Reveal Day to Day Line-Up

One of the biggest festivals to be taking place this Summer is the annual Governors Ball. The three-day festival which is set to take over Randall’s Island, New York City in early June revealed the full lime-up last month with artists such as Outkast, Phoenix, Jack White, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend and many more.

Today, festival organizers revealed just which artists will be taking the stage during the weekend-long festival schedule to happen during June 6-8.

Citi Card pre-sales began at 10 a.m. EST, today, while general sales will begin on Friday, April 4 at noon. Like the official website states, single day tickets are a limited quantity and once they are gone, the only option are the full three-day passes which cost a pretty penny. Lollapalooza Officially Announces 2014 Acts

Lollapalooza has finally come out and announced all the acts that will performing at the annual festival. Last week, a source had confirmed to the Chicago Tribune that Eminem, Kings of Leon, Skrillex and the Arctic Monkeys would be headlining.

Today, the festival confirmed the previously announced acts will in fact be headlining the weekend alongside Lorde, Calvin Harris and OutKast who can add this show to their long list of festival performances.

The rest of the 130-acts who will be taking the stage during the weekend long festival include: Nas, Lykke Li, Spoon, Interpol, Chance the Rapper, CHVRCHES, Broken Bells, Run the Jewels, Blood Orange, Jenny Lewis, Darkside, Chromeo, Warpaint, Courtney Barnett, Parquet Courts, Phosphorescent, Ratking, the 1975, Phantogram, Duke Dumont, Rich Homie Quan, Jhené Aiko, Vic Mensa, White Denim, Flosstradamus, the So So Glos, Jagwar Ma, the Head and the Heart, Kate Nash, the Avett Brothers, Foster the People, Young the Giant, Portugal. the Man, Childish Gambino, and many more.

The festival is set to return to its usual spot of Grant Park in Chicago during the weekend of August 1st-3rd. Sadly, for those individuals who would like to attend all three days of the festival, the three-day passes have already sold out for general admission.

Individual day tickets, though, are set to go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Central, but if you are still interested in getting three-day passes, VIP and Platinum ones are still available.

Sasquatch! 2014 Line-Up Revealed

Just when we thought all the festivals have revealed their line ups for the 2014 season, Sasquatch! Music Festival has announced their line up.

Following their promise to perform at every single music festival in the United States, Outkast is one of the headliners for the festivities. For the first time in the history of the event, it will happen during two weekends and unlike all the others, the line-up for the two weekends will be completely different.

The weekends will be May 23 to 25 for the first set and July 4 to 6 for the second set.

As for the weekend that Outkast will be headlining which will also be Memorial weekend, the line up will be the following: QOTSA, and M.I.A., the National, Haim, Chance the Rapper, Neko Case, Waxahatchee, Rudimental, Major Lazer, Violent Femmes, Kid Cudi, Cut Copy, tUnE-yArDs, Panda Bear, Tyler, the Creator, Parquet Courts, Bob Mould, Phosphorescent, Liars, AlunaGeorge, Washed Out, Big Freedia, Banks, Austra, Damien Jurado, Deafheaven, Mogwai, Foals, and Ryan Hemsworth. A comedy stage will feature Maya Rudolph’s Prince cover band Princess, and others.

As for the weekend that Neutral Milk Hotel and Frank Ocean will be headlining which will be Fourth of July weekend the line up will be the following: Soundgarden, Kraftwerk, Spoon, New Order, Röyksopp & Robyn, Cloud Nothings, Cass McCombs, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Rhye, Mikal Cronin, Action Bronson, Sharon Van Etten, Talib Kweli, Courtney Barnett, Junip, Mac DeMarco, Foxygen, Broken Bells, Tegan and Sara, Metz, the Notwist, Gold Panda, Deltron 3030, Of Montreal, Death, La Roux, Majical Cloudz, Oneohtrix Point Never, the Horrors, Chad VanGaalen, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Duke Dumont, Palma Violets, and Black Milk. There will be another comedy stage, with Demetri Martin, Eugene Mirman.

Sasquatch! will take place at Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington and passes will go on sale on Saturday, February 8 at 10 a.m. PST via the festival’s website.

Hangout Festival Reveal 2014 Line Up

Outkast are making their presence known at every single music festival that North American has got to offer and now they have been revealed to be headlining Alabama’s Hangout Festival which is set to take place in mid-May.

But the Atlanta-based duo aren’t the only ones taking the stage at the festival, they will also be joined by the likes of the Black Keys, the Killers, Jack Johnson, Queens of the Stone Age, Pretty Lights, the Flaming Lips, the Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse and many more.

The Hangout Music Festival will take place on the beachside Gulf Shore, AL from May 16 through 18. The initial line up for the event can be seen below. Tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow, January 16 at 10 a.m.

Governor’s Ball Music Festival Line Up Announced

Music festival unveiling have become one of the biggest news of the day and this time, the Governor’s Ball has revealed who will be playing the anticipated event.

Previously, it was announced that Outkast would be performing, you know just one of the 40 festivals they are going to be playing at, but they aren’t alone on the bill; The Strokes, Jack White and Vampire Weekend will all be playing that weekend.

The Governor’s Ball is set to take place during the weekend of June 6-8 on Randall’s Island in New York City. Tickets are a little steep, so the event organizers have set up a way for fans to be able to pay for their tickets in increments. Yes, a payment plan for tickets, what does that tell you.
