ONE OK ROCK announces ‘Ambitions,’ releases new single

A couple of months after announcing plans to release an English-language album and signing with Fueled By Ramen, ONE OK ROCK has finally confirmed the release of the album. On Friday (Nov.18), the Japanese band announced that the record will be titled Ambitions and is set t be released on Jan. 13, 2017. In addition to announcing the name and release date for the impending release, the band has also unveiled another new song from the album. The track is titled “Bedroom Warfare” and its music video can be seen below.

“Bedroom Warfare” will join lead single “Taking Off” on Ambitions. The 14-track album will feature guest appearances from All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth (for the track “Jaded”) and the guys from 5 Seconds of Summer (for the track “Take What You Want”). The guest appearances isn’t that much of a surprise for the band or their fans. The group’s 2015 release, 35xxxv featured appearances by Issues’ Tyler Carter and Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn

Pre-orders for Ambitions are currently available on the band’s website. Those who pre-order the album before its January release will get instant download of both “Taking Off” and “Bedroom Warfare.” For now, the full track list for the record can be seen below.

ONE OK ROCK joins Fueled by Ramen lineup

The guys from ONE OK ROCK have already made a name for themselves in their home country of Japan, so what is a band to do once they’ve conquered the music scene in their home country? Easy. sign with a record label in the United States and try to conquer that music scene too. On Monday (Sept. 12), it was announced that the Japanese band has officially signed with Fueled by Ramen.

In addition to signing with the Florida-founded record label, it was also confirmed that they will be releasing their first English-language album in early 2017. While the name of the record and the official release date have not been announced, FBR has confirmed that the lead single from the album will be titled “Taking Off” and is set to premiere on Friday, Sept. 16.

“I’m proud to welcome ONE OK ROCK to the Fueled By Ramen family,” Fueled By Ramen president, Mike Easterlin, said in a press release. “Their monumental rise in Japan has been thrilling to watch and we look forward to launching the next chapter of their career here in the US and around the globe.”

Prior to signing with Fueled by Ramen, ONE OK ROCK had toured with several bands including All Time Low, Sleeping with Sirens, and Issues. By joining the Fueled by Ramen family, the group will be in good company counting bands like Panic! at the Disco, Paramore, 3OH!3, The Front Bottoms, and Young the Giant as fellow label mates.

Issues, Crown the Empire to Join Monster Energy Outbreak Tour

The annual Monster Energy Outbreak tour has just unveiled the band that will be making their way across the country this spring. On Monday (Han. 25) it was announced that Atlanta’s Issues, Dallas’ Crown the Empire, Long Island’s Night Verses, and Japanese rock band, ONE OK ROCK will be hitting the road for the yearly, month-long trek. The tour will kick off on March 20 at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento and wrap up on April 18 at the House of Blues in Chicago.

For those interested in the excursion, tickets for the show will go on sale beginning this Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 am local time. In addition to normal, general admission tickets, VIP tickets will also go on sale beginning Friday. For more information about the upcoming tour, head on over here. All Time Low Announce ‘Back to the Future Hearts’ Tour

Time to get those future hearts beating again, Hustlers, because All Time Low have announced they will be heading out on another tour this Fall.

The band, who recently wrapped up the European leg of their ‘Future Hearts Tour’ revealed they will be returning to the United States for another trek beginning in early October.

The tour, which will feature support from Sleeping with Sirens and Japanese rock band, One Ok Rock, will begin on Oct. 9 at the CFE Arena at UCF in Orlando (Sleeping with Sirens’ hometown) and then wrap up a month and a half later on Nov. 24 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

This tour, much like All Time Low’s previous North American trek, is in support of their recently released record, Future Hearts.

Sleeping with Sirens, in a similar move, also just wrapped up a tour of their own; their acoustic ‘We Like it Loud Quiet Acoustic Tour’ which was in support of their recently released record, Madness.

Tickets for the Fall tour stops will go on general sale beginning Friday, July 10. For those who are part of ATL’s Hustlers, pre-sale will begin tomorrow, July 8, at noon, local time.
